Quality of On Demand services on "freetime"?
I have a couple of Foxsat G1 HDRs and am familiar with quality of BBC iplayer.
Sooner or later I'll add G2 "freetime" box. I was trying to ascertain what quality (HD?) I would get on the catch up services. Can anybody point me in the right direction? Thanks, |

The on demand quality is pretty good on all the players except ITVPlayer as currently they're still using the same crappy MHEG version that is available on some G1boxes.
BBCiPlayer has a HD option for those program's that are available(either way both SD and HD are way better than what you currently get now) 4OD and Demand 5 is very good quality (well the adverts look crap, but the program's are great) They don't have a HD/SD option so I'm thinking the quality that's achieved maybe based on what your broadband can handle at that time. |
