Just installed my new Freesat box (as above). A dream to install but I feel I may have missed something as I can only record one programme at a time! The new box has taken the place of a Humax Foxsat so it was one out and one in. I have changed the LNB leads over and it is still showing one feed.

Any help would be great. Thanks

All the Humax freesat units detect the number of LNB connections ONLY at first install or factory reset. Perhaps you have a poor or shorted connection on one lead.

Have you connected twin feeds from your dish? If only single, you will only be able to record one programme.

Many thanks for replies.

There is a possibility that both leads weren't detected at first install. How do I do a factory reset?
I can't see an obvious way.

Not true on a HDR1000/1010S.

You can record any two programmes where the transponders are in the same frequency band(high or low) and have the same polarisation. You can also view a 3rd channel live which shares a transponder with either recording (any one in the same frequency band and polarisation if the two recordings happen to be from the same transponder).

Settings System Settings Factory Default.

Settings System Information Signal Info will tell you how many cables the box thinks it has. Look at the bottom of the window

It will say Freesat Box is connected with X cable.

Thanks to all for help and advice.
Now resolved by trimming the twin feed and re-attaching F plugs tightly! Then doing factory reset.
