If he can still get through after performing first, he's definitely proving popular with the voters.

If he gets to the final, who could he perform with? They won't do the mentor duets if either Louis or Sharon's acts get through.

We are currently the second biggest appreciation thread of all the final 12. This thread could explode once Luke goes from dark horse to favorite. Luke's moment is coming very soon watch this space.

Week 7 is rumored to be best of the X Factor. I'm sure there are many songs he could twist up and make his own.

At this moment in time, that seems like a good choice.

He's singing Moondance, what do you all think?

I think Luke could really make this song his own!

He can because that's the song I would have chosen!

Kidding, but he can definitely nail this.

I know this would never happen but I would love for Luke to do a song by Electric Guest! Like This Head I Hold or Under My Gun!

Moondance will alllow Luke to showcase more of his personality . Also the chorus to that could allow him to belt a bit. I'm not sure if it's the most well-known song out of the bunch though?

Moondance has been used on XF before though in Series 3 when Ashley forgot the words and then went bottom 2 (or bottom 3 as there was a double elimination).

Hopefully history doesn't repeat itself.

Moondance will be great for Luke. Set for another standout week I'd say.

thought I would join in on this thread given he is the only act left this year I have any interest in

think moondance is a fairly safe choice for him and hope that doesn't backfire

really want him to get through this week as the following week's theme is one that should allow them to pick something that really suits him

Well, Luke would never forget the words because he's a total pro I remember that Ashley got told off for not rehearsing enough before that happened.

Incidentally, has anyone been able to find a clip of Ashley forgetting his words? I remember it happening but would like to see it again. I liked his voice.

Yeah I liked Ashley... IMO the first act to be screwed up by the various themes.

Luke should be good at MD though

Interview with Luke re Big Band

http://www.theexeterdaily.co.uk/news...-big-band-week

He says he loves the song, is the most excited for it than any other week and will add a bit of "Luke" into the song so it suits his style but not change it completely. Sounding confident, I like.

I am really looking forward to this week.I think it is great he is doing a song that hasnt been done loads of times before,he can really put his own spin on it unlike some of the other song choices that could get compared to past performances .

Moondance has a lot of words to it so not an easy song to sing (as Ashley found out). However it suits Luke,so I think he'll do well

That would be excellent! I wonder what Luke's scatting sounds like.
