Emilia Marsh: How old was you when you started singing?

Luke Friend: I was about 12 or 13 when I started gigging! I did open mic nights from then on - and I realised I could sing when I was about eight.

Suzy Ryall: Who has been your biggest inspiration so far?x

Luke Friend: There have been so many but I'd say my main one is Jeff Buckley. Just because his music got me into song-writing, got me into playing guitar... he really inspired me.

Hannah Carradice: What made you think about growing your hair and having it in that style?xxx

Luke Friend: I didn't do it to stand out - that happened by accident really. I wanted to experiment with it and I like it so I'll keep it this way for a bit

Luke Friend: My favourite has to be Kiss From A Rose - it's one of my favourite songs and I got a great response from it. Plus Seal tweeted me after that performance. ps. I love you too

Luke Friend: Either Pearl Jam's lead singer Eddie Vedder or Stevie Nicks. They're big inspirations too.

Luke Friend: You need a good work ethhic and you have to believe it yourself, even when people don't support you. Take comments on board and use it to get better and HAVE FUN!

Luke Friend: Of all time? Oh my goodness... that's a hard question! Ther eare so many. and they change all the time but one that has affected me from my favourite film is Heroes by David Bowie. That song is just brilliant.

Luke Friend: Hi Amy! I'd love to visit to Australia - my best friend has just moved there and she looks like she's having an amazing time.
