Just wanted to say how proud of Luke I am.He can from being "cannon fodder" as they say on the main forum to being in the top 3.That is pretty amazing!I know he will go on to great things and I will be watching every step!

Sad Luke didn't get through. I wanted Nicholas to go, and Luke in tomorrow's show, but as everyone else has said he's going to have a huge career and is better off away from Syco.
I was watching some of his early videos on Youtube today and his talent is so evident even when he was younger, and also his own songs on his EP are so good.
I'm really looking forward to when he has an album out now, and he becomes known as a proper artist rather than an X Factor contestant. I want to switch on the radio and hear his songs!

Howard from Take That saying how hes soo gutted that Luke is gone and how he downloaded his sing off performance last week and that was the first performance hes downloaded! He was really supportive on Xtra factor, said Luke was the only act to excite him 
Just watching Xtra Factor and glad to see Luke looking so happy!he is laughing and dancing away at the end with caroline

Sadly I think I can. The voters always tend to go for the safe option which is why the runners up tend to do better long term. Luke's style is more likely to appeal to people who would buy records but don't tend to vote. Which isn't a bad thing long term.

Been reading some tweets from people who were at the live show tonight. Apparently before the final 2 were announced, the audience were warned not to boo.

Yeh they knew he would finish 3rd at that point so probably felt the need to warm them not to boo.

Luke was really popular with the crowd.They were prob afraid Nicholas would get booed if he got through over Luke(which he did)
I'm more interested in the voting percentage reveal tomorrow night than the final. I just want to see how close it was.

I just brought it now.
Extremely shocked by tonight's result. One thing's for sure...I'll be getting lots of sleep tomorrow night.
Luke's duet was epic...shame they showed the worst part of it in the recap and he performed his duet first!! What on earth are the producers doing?

Sad that he went out against Nicholas... but we are now left with the two acts who have no actual x factor, good voices, no style and have little chance of a career post the show.
Luke has been fantastic throughout the series and really his main buying demographic wouldn't really watch or vote on a reality tv show, so I guess to come third shows how popular he has become elsewhere.... especially seeing as he was rank outsider to win at one point.
Can't wait to see what comes next - he will 100% be bigger than the 2 remaining anyway
