I can't play any instruments (nope, not even the triangle, too complicated) and my singing is no where near good enough to even contemplate a duet so I have no idea how I would fit into this picture.

I'm going to watch the tour in February, I might just throw my underwear on stage and see what reaction I get

I win, then, though a default win is no fun; I was looking forward to the mud wrestling cat fight stage

I'm jealous you're seeing the tour (though I'd only go to see Luke so it's more miserlyness than real inability to go stopping me). I truly hope you throw underwear at the stage

And we've probably disrupted this thread enough; ironic given why It's been fun though, stay around

I intend to. I like to spread a little bit of the silliness wherever I go.

Giggling like a silly tween is good for the soul, like soup (I think).

Good I was going to usher you towards the main forum but *looks at tumbleweed* well, it's often quite lively. Honest! *doesn't look even remotely shifty*

I think both Luke and Nicholas need lessons on how to cope with the attention they will now have.

How to deal with photographers, loaded questions, headlines, unwelcome (OTT) fan attention, possibles stalkers. Luke seems quite mature and level headed for his age, but he'll still need support. I think that's where being in a group can be a benefit as you can support each other.

I think they will take him down the co-writing route, with maybe a couple of his own songs if they are deemed good enough and possibly a cover or two. Even the co-written songs will have his own stamp on them so I'm sure he'll have an album to be proud of.

I don't think I'll be throwing my nickers on the stage...never have, probably never will....and I'm old enough to be his granny....but, I'm currently totally obsessed with Luke...I play his music for as long as possible every day....I love his voice, the way he plays guitar and arranges songs......he is SO clever....also there's something about him...a bit like those 60s/70s rock stars like Robert Plant, Jimmy Page etc......and he has the most amazing smile and eyes .....ooooooh I'm getting all .I don't know what.....xx

So it's Saturday and there is no X Factor today...

A tiny post in memory of 14 year-old Emma whose Christmas present was X Factor tour tickets to Dublin. She was a fan of Luke and would have been excited about seeing him come to town, I wonder if she knew? I weep for her that she didn't have the opportunity to see Luke perform live. Her death had nothing to do with being a Friendie. Isn't it sad Luke has one fan less due to rules and regulations: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...scription.html

Luke has fans far and wide, it's a family.

No words. All I will say is, if I had been the pharmacist, I would have given the poor girl the medication she needed without a second thought.

But that's me.

Me too. Silly rules and regulations that clearly are not designed for a life & death situation.

It's sad to read the part about how her Christmas prezzie was to see Luke in Dublin. I hope Luke reads this article.

What a sad story, and it makes it worse that it could have been prevented
