Talking of things happening for a reason.

Rough Copy had their sing off in week 7, which gave them the rebound to overtake Luke in week 8.

Then Luke had his sing off in week 8, giving him the rebound to overtake Rough Copy in week 9.

That's how he got to the final

That was my first thought when i saw it.He hasnt tweeted anything further about it. It is very deep like you say, but I do think is very mature for his age.Hopefully he'llexplain more soon!

His lyrics seem so personal, I actually adore them. I just love that he talks about personal experiences. His lyric writing has the potential to make a lot of people cry, it's very Jeff Buckley

Having said that, my favourite lyrics so far is from Basically Older when he says "Do you wanna talk about fashion sense or do you think Indie's back in trend?" haha idk why I love it.

I love his original music my favorite lyric is from Good Timing Part II. "I will dig out the sand so I get closer" He shows a lot of passion in his lyrics. As he gets older and more experienced he has the potential to be a great songwriter.

Yes I agree - love those lyrics. I also agree about the passion, funny the next part of those lyrics goes something like "I crave for your passion, your desire" Just absolute love <3

We are nearly on 100 pages

ps - nice seeing Luke showing support for Sam B tonight. I didn't watch the NTA's tonight but regardless thought it was a lovely gesture from Lukey!

PS - I heard the XF clip for NTAS showed a bit of Luke?

i didnt watch either but it seems they showed a lot of Luke during the XF clip.

Lol I am actually going to watch the NTA's on iplayer just so I can see how much they showed of Luke. If anyone finds the XF award nominations online then do post here

Oh yess I totally agree! I also love how he sets the scene for the song with the opening lyrics "As you light a cigarette and it falls down to the ground, what has happened to this God awful town" or something like that anyway

On the Nicky thread they are annoyed as Sam B and Luke were shown a lot but there was only a brief glimpse of Nick. You'd expect all three to be featured

again sam and luke are more popular than nick
Sam topped the votes nearly every week on the xfactor and Luke has one of the biggest following online this year follwed by sam b

you would think all 3 would be shown,but they prob went with the winner(sam) and who they think is going to be most successful(luke)

Wait did they not show Nick at all or just a lil snippet? it's hard for me to extract anything from it without actually seeing the clip hmm. I heard they showed parts of Lukes auditions but im sure the whole thing was just a massive montage

Yeah it showed him at the auditions and then a clip of 'best thing I never had'
They also showed Sam bailey's audition (Out of all the finalists they only showed Sams & Lukes)and her winning
Nicholas got 1 clip of him singing... haha
Sam obviously got more than Luke but I'm happy with the amount of coverage he got because it was only him and Sam to get the most, They showed 1 clip of RC too
