This dance deserved a thread of its on after 11 years of going blah at them holy heck this dance was made for them everything perfect... If week ten it would have been tens her swivels lifts kicks and flicks stunning timing fabulous and they danced it as they were in the 1920s so at ease well done the stunning Brendan and Sophie

It was brilliant, so much better than DVO's from last year.

Easily the dance of the night.

Sophie looked the part, delivered nice controlled classic characterful moves, handled the lifts/flips and the latter gave it a bit of wow factor.

Fabulous number. They're just terrific. Will Brendan be the first of the dancers to win the trophy twice? He stands a chance!

A dance that suited her to a T .

Well done for Brendan as well because it is, his first charleston on strictly. I think that the whole routine was just brilliant

It was good, but not as good as Denise's last year. People will use any excuse to have a go at her.

First charleston I have liked on SCD. Ever. It was classy and fun.

Sophie did a proper Charleston, Denise didn't.

Congratulations to both. Brendan for a superb routine and Sophie for a brilliant execution. Not many celebs would do a solo in the middle of the floor in week two.

I agree it was very good - however there was very little swivel and I didn't notice any open leg moves of any note.

Denise's Charleston was absolutely classic, stuffed with perfect era moves and her footwork and swivel was immaculate.

I didn't love her as a person, but that was a real Charleston. Go and look at some on Youtube - the ones from the past.

Dislike the Charleston however Brendan and Sophie's is the first one I've found watchable on SCD.

Loved it - well done you two

Sophie has never had any formal dance training though has she

The best ever Charleston is still Chris Hollins and Ola's though, just brilliant.
