Must be odd for Matt, he has filmed his final scenes as the Doctor as he is about to embark on a massive publicity tour for the 50th

But then I guess the acting is merely part of the job of a role like the Doctor.

Last scene must be in the TARDIS then. Was hoping for a different regeneration outside the TARDIS for a change.

Won't Matt be still in other episodes in the future on special occasions?

It's a standing joke for the Who actors that as soon as they join, they get asked when they're going leave, and as soon as they leave they get asked if they'll be coming back.

If think you've broken the record for that one.

Yes but how much more Matt the prat footage do we have suffer before the change?

I'll reserve judgement on the new one but at least he is an actor. He can't be any worse than Matt the prat as that is an impossibility.

Are you a little jealous Roland Mouse, no need to be jealous of the sonic screwdriver.

I reckon the chrimbo special must be quite story heavy as no way can they have enough time to put many effects in it at this late stage

I'm sure these won't be his last scenes. He'll hopefully be back for the 10th Anniversary of the new series??
