Joseph says that there are no real men left on The X Factor this year just boys, there is nothing for the older ladies, but having got his kit off for this story, I think he might just have made the young and the older ladies day.

how ironic coming from a 'man' who has regularly been seen sobbing on screen

I always wanted Joseph through he'd the best looking out of all the lads. But I didn't like him for his looks I love his voice he should've got through and he has the X Factor .

If his album track is anything to go by, WTF was he thinking doing X Factor anyway!

This is grown up ballsy rock music in the style of GnR, not pappy pop!

Quite impressed!

Don't know what this has to do with anything. Men can express their emotions too.

That looks like a typical Plenty of Fish profile photo.

Not to mention the young and older gay men's!

Actually, a few of the group members must be around his age, I would've thought, or not much younger than him..

However, like him as I did and fancy as I do, isn't the show supposed to be about the best singers?

Rich.

I think he mentioned it once on the Xtra Factor...it was just a throwaway comment so you may have missed it

Disappointed with that body. Was expecting more tattoos or more hair.

Have to say I wasn't expecting him to be such a twink but he is still far better eyecandy than anyone in the live shows .

Also, the Chinese tattoo on his torso is hideous.

I like the tats..

I'm pretty sure he's shaved his chest hair off for that shot..

Remember a few of the glimpses of his chest that we've seen during the X-Factor I've been pretty sure that there's at least some there..

Still, the bod is great..

Just watched the link to the new single..

Pretty good, so far as the guitar playing goes, but he's definitely calmed it down for the X-Factor, if that's the sort of thing he's into and I'm surprised, to be honest, given that's the sort of material he's writing that he'd give the X-Factor a look.....there's a niche market out there for his sort of stuff.

I am pleasantly surprised by his music but I feel like he has really hurt his chances of being seen well in that niche by going on X Factor twice. Fightstar really struggled to gain credibility at first and Charlie Simpson was in nowhere near as disadvantaged a position as Joe Whelan is at the moment.

On that note I think Sharon might have done him a favour by not picking him for the live shows. In a few weeks time people will have forgotten about him as an X Factor act and they may start to pay more attention to his music.
