[Game] X-factor vs The Voice vs Pop Idol Live Show 5
Hello and welcome to the 5th live show of X-factor vs The Voice vs Pop Idol. last week saw the elimination of Hayley Evetts which left Roxie with 2 acts. Tonight the acts will be singing to a brand new theme which is IMPRESS THE HOST. This theme is one which means that we don`t need a public vote as I am the one that decides the bottom 2. So who wants to welcome the final 7?
Jackamakka and The Male Over 25s Jamie Archer Aaron Bayley Wong_Billabong and the last of The Boys Mike Ward Fireemblemcraze and The Female Over 25s Maria Lawson Alys Williams The1Kuda and The Girls Misha B Leah McFall So judges please confirm your presence to give me advice as to who lands in the bottom!!! ![]() |

Jamie Archer
Jamie, I loved this song when I heard it and I knew straight away it would suit you down to a tee. I really hope the passion in your voice came across in the vocals because I sure as hell felt it. Good job from you, and special congrats for opening the show tonight as well

Jamie Jamie, I'm sorry but I wasn't a fan. It wasn't really a performing sort of song and it's hard to imagine you singing on the XF stage. Roxies comment Jamie I like the song but I just don’t think it was for you Jamie. It felt too forced for your slightly more delicate Bon Jo type vocal. Last week’s performance suited you really well I thought. This week was hit and miss. It sounded too old for you too – a bit too husky. Kuda keeps on going on about star quality and I don’t think this performance had it for me. |

Maria Damn, this was a great performance and I really do believe it could impress the host. Well done to you. After weeks of me not being a fan, last week you won me over and now I love you, well done Roxies comment Maria Honey I love you. That was simply amazing. No words can describe how beautiful that was. George wanted to hear your vocals more distinctively and this time I’ve stripped it down to Maria’s vocals. And my god was that stunning. |

Maria, your vocals really shone on this performance tonight. You sounded absolutely fantastic, however...I felt it lacked any big performance which I really enjoy seeing from you. Of course, this isn’t really a negative I would just like to see something a bit bigger from you next week. Great job! |

Leah Despite this song having so much personal meaning to me, I actually find it a really boring unless Im emotional. However, the vocal were stunning Leah so big well done Roxies comment Leah Kuda you know I love Leah but Charice? Their vocals have as much in common as me and Mrs O (i.e. young beautiful vs old wicked woman). This is too thick for Leah’s tone and so dreary for jazzy pop Leah. Leah’s so full of class, this song is so full of class but this cover of the song is so not. You do have a lot of fans – so who knows what’s going to happen. |

Aaron Again, what a great performance. It was sang so beautifully so a massive well done. You've definitely made so much progress since those bottom 2 weeks. Roxies comment Aaron YES! YES! Aaron from your tragic performance last week this was a great song choice! The song suited your genre AND suited your tone albeit sounding slightly too light and not deep enough. You’ve topped my votes today – well done Jacka! |

Aaron Bayley
Finding a song for you this week was actually a bit of a challenge, because I wasn't really too sure what way would be best to show you off. I think this song achieved it well, but I agree it could've been better. Alas, we can't change the past and what's done is done, but I'll stick behind you whatever Aaron

Alys Alys for the first time ever, I didn't like your performance and believe me I'm gutted about it. I just didn't like the song and it didn't feel like the Alys we all know and love Roxies comment Alys So the judges want variety – they got variety. Amazing Alys. Your thick vocal on the lower pitches suits this song perfectly. And the song’s got a really addictive beat/rhythm as well. The indie folk/bluesy direction I had for you is still present in this song and we’ve got plenty of good songs lined up for you. Well done doll! I think this has been my favourite performance today. |

Misha B Misha B, i really liked that. It got me into the party mood and made me wish it was still a Friday night and I didn't have to go and teach a load of 10 year olds tomorrow. Roxies comment Misha B I actually for one enjoyed your previous direction – the rapping suited you really well. I don’t like how you’ve gone from pop to hip hop to reggae back to pop to hip hop again to R&B now? Misha is not R&B. You need to stick to one direction Kuda because at the moment I don’t know what Misha B’s part is in this genre. And I love Melanie Fiona but I don’t think her tone matches Misha’s. Please honey don’t do R&B again. A bit of a let-down Kuds. |

Mike This is the first song I've given you that i had never heard of. And god I am glad I have because it is beautiful and I really hope it impresses the host, because bang that is going straight on my IPod. Roxies comment Mike Mike this suited your wonderful thick tone. But I am really missing that country rock that you were doing! It was so wonderful and convinced me to save you over Will. The song is a bit repetitive in parts and part of what made country rock good was that it kept us excited. I just don’t feel excited by this. I have nothing against old music (Bon Jovi/Jamiroquai/Abba/Queen/The Carpenters are all my favourites) but I don’t agree that 60s sounding music should be used all the time. Surely this show is meant to mimic the real one in the sense how fresh/relevant you sound also plays a part? Anyways I’ll give you credit based on the fact that it sounded like you. Overall a nice way to end the show. |
