Hi all
Hope somebody can offer some advice. I've had a Samsung LE26R for around 3 years and it's worked fine until this last week (or two).

When I switch the TV on (usually after being off for a lengthy period of time) the picture is broken up by black, white and grey vertical lines. It usually covers the entire screen and disappears within 5 minutes.

There's a picture linked below. This happened after the TV was off for 90 minutes on Friday. The interference only covers a portion of the screen.

Any advice on the cause would be great.

Is the TV connected via a Scart lead or HDMI? It looks like it is picking up some sort of RF interference as poorly screened cables allow this,

Almost certainly the LCD panel failing, it's a fairly common failure of an LCD panel.

Yup, looks like a MUX row driver on the way out - probably flaky TAB bonding if it changes with time/heat. Gonna need a new panel soon.
