Boyband 1 dated take that early 90s type act

Boyband band duo dated boys to men type act

Girl band more current look ok depends what material he gives them

He chose the right 3 acts imo. Got it spot on, unlike Louis and Sharon who made huge mistakes not picking Giles and Joseph.

All dreadful, the other girl group should have been chosen but that was never going to happen once Gary had created his own group to mould.

The other girl group was utterly dreadful. You can't be serious?

I think it's so wrong that the third member who could not join them, gets to go back in the group. Say he cocked it up or had bad vocals auditioning yesterday. They make it up as they go along.

I'm liking this girl group very much so far

That's just dumb.

Meeting a quota, same reason an asian will get a job in the police ahead of a white bloke even though he;s not as good a candidate.

FILLING WELL FILLING A BLOODY FLIPPING QUOTA.

Both the black boy groups should have gotten through but Gary had to have atleast one whit egroup in there!

There is no all-white group last I checked....

I thought he'd choose two of those but I would have picked the 4 boys not the two.

I think it's good that he had 3 different types of acts. Brick City and Code 4 were very similar and so was Rough Copy but I thought RC were better

Gary's chosen 3 are the only ones where I'm happy with all the acts he chose.

Really ? Are you series ? xyra were the best band of the whole lot..except for possibly brick city! I saw them smash it at bootcamp and got a standing ovation that was edited out!!!!! They never stood a chance when Gary decided to put his own group together....they obviously were painted in a much more favourable light than xyra who weren't really given a chance - they've uploaded rehearsal videos of each of their auditions - seriously hoping they come back next year

His choices have made me decide that at this stage the groups are my favourite category now.
Boys second best category, though they could have done without boring Nicholas.
Love the groups now, will be supporting Rough Copy.

Yes you have to hand it to Gary Barlow but he did make the right choices whereas the other judges didn't.

I think his groups will go far because he knows what he is talking about when it comes to the groups

I disagree about Giles..
I thought his final audition sounded like your average kid in bad school concert, very weak and limited.

I think either Paul, or Ryan would've been much more reliable choices, in terms of delivery..

Re the groups..

I'm also in disagreement..

If Barlow were to choose anything "different," he might've gone for the Tenors of Rock option, that would've been thinking outside of the box, but he's been very predictable, IMO..and who needs another identikit boyband, although, they're pretty reliable vocally..

As for the Lego Ladies, well, time will tell, but this obsession year in and year out of having to create a band out of "failed," solo attempts leaves me cold..

I've no interest in them, but, will wait to see what they come up with..their audition on a New York rooftop certainly sounded pretty tight....or am I just being a cynic in thinking that it sounded just a little too polished?

Maybe they really have been able to pull it all together in 2 weeks?

I've seen it before, but not too often.

Rich.

What all white group?

And why does it even matter? You use an example of discrimination towards white people (Asian less qualified getting the job) then suggest Gary is discriminating for picking a majority white band?

Surely you can see why that's a bit ridiculous?

Miss Dyanmix, and Rough Copy are both non white so how is it discrimination when they're the majority?

It's so wrong though! I wanted Next of Kin instead of Kingsland as the 'fledgling Take That' group.

CJM91 is obsessed with Giles so don't even bother trying to argue

Louis's are quite different
Sam- Eye Candy
Luke- Rocker ( even if he's at Frankie Cocozzas level)
Nicholas- a bit dated but Union J fans from last year appear to be backing him so ....
