......only started watching the show a couple of weeks ago, and couldn't understand why she was swapped with one of the others on the seats, and having heard her again today, can't understand how she got as far as she has. Her voice is weak squeeky and boring.

Lol, she got through. What a joke.

Scherzinger must have cheese in her ears.

No. I think she is good.

There is no way she will be able to sound good on themes outside her comfort zone.

It's her twee outfits and flowers in her hair that's getting on my wick the most.

She is more talented as a musician than anyone else in the competition.

But as ever DS will appreciate those that just belt out cover after cover.

She's an easy vote-getter. Most of the other acts look and sound the same as eachother. It was a smart move to put her through.

She's great.

Couldn't have said it better, her own songs are really good.

Ds has the worst taste in contestants, it loves the generic, the bland and the boring.

Probably but it will make for better entertainment than the usual stereotyped middle of the road chanteuse clones that are ten a penny.

I think she comes across as a nice person. Her voice isn't to my taste however.
Still, she should get the mating whale vote

At least she is something a bit different from the 'belters' who all dress and sound alike.

I can already imagine the complaints though about her not following the themes and giving the same performance every week.

One trick is a stupid thing to say.

She writes her own stuff, plays piano and guitar.

Tell me what anyone else in the competition does other than rip off others songs?

So are the others. They all sing the same.

She may not be a belter but equally as annoying she'll do 'quirky' covers. Last year it was all about the bloody guitars. This year its a bloody piano.

I agree - she's an artist, but musicians are a rarity on the show.

She might be a good musician, but not everyone who can play an instrument is naturally a good singer as well, and imho she can't sing for toffee (as my old ma used to say)

I agree. She plays her own instrument. I think it is too early to write her off just yet. She has a country feel to her, which I like.

There is a world of music outside of the X Factor.

'Yeah Mr Springsteen you've wasted your time playing guitar, and writing and singing your own songs, instead you should have been doing cheesy covers of pop songs and trying to channel Whitney'

Nice inoffensive girl and she seems quite a talented musician, but her voice is weakish and she will probably prove very one dimensional on the live shows.

The have tried with Janet devln and Lucy spranggan for an alternative quirky winner to try and give the show kudos but it's never going to happen
