Indeed. As an over she would almost certainly get through to the live shows. Why? Because image and weight aren't so much of a barrier going into that category, and that's her Achilles' heel.
Urgh, sorry but here's what I see: Jade has an average at best voice, however there's no genuine emotion or drama in her performance, I find her cold and unrelatable, and whatever the "x-factor" is, she does not have it. A lovely girl but not a star.
^ I don't think she looks like Adele but I agree that she only got all that praise the first time because "Someone Like You" was really popular. It's like when Ryan, I think, performed an acoustic version of "Get Lucky" at his arena audition. The crowd will always love a big hit!
I don't see her or Amy Mottram making the lives, their best shots were 2011 and 2012 respectively. I'm sorry but they both seem like they're trying to imitate Adele and they're unlikely to go on to be somewhat original recording artists. Hence I think 2011 was Jade's best shot when Adele exploded. I don't think Amy has any star quality sadly I'm not sure about Jade.

I actually think she is rather pretty, but, while I hate that your comment is true, it is true.
She reminds me of Alison Moyet a bit. If she goes a bit retro (REAL retro, not Adele style) and carves out a niche that way, she might just have a shot.
She has a soulful if somewhat rough tone, and power behind it, too. A bit of work on her technique would help her. Modulation and dynamics , mostly. She needs to not go full tilt belt verging on angry . BUt she has a cool voice and I like her.
