i would like to clarify i am in no way related to Melanie. The views i have expressed on here are in fact my own, based on a few little facts i have been fortunate to have been told by someone who knows.

Not very often they get the winner they want, Ella was signed to Syco last series and was pimped but never picked up the votes, Syco believe Jahemene can break America, and he was plan B but never got the win... you would think they would learn!

Unless it's positive There was no VT of her telling her family she wasn't picked. There has been speculation about this and her 'sob' story. There has been thread aplenty about other auditionee's 'sob' stories.

Gary said they had been asked to meet him but they did not know the reason why, well that was the idea

The thread suggested Melanie's family were irked that she hadn't been picked but indeed there is no actual evidence of this and neither is there that she'd been told she was a shoe in etc
I personally think she auditioned of her own bat and simply wasn't picked. It's odd that Jade isn't getting this kind of reaction
Seemingly everyone accepts she just keeps auditioning off her own bat.
