Because the OP confused some contestants' names and their spelling is iffy. The connotation of Irish people liking a drink entered my head only after you mistakenly thought that was what I meant.
I hate assumptions and incorrect comments based on it.

Andrea was bad at judges houses and Melanie lacks star quality / doesn't have as strong a voice as the other girls. She also comes across verging on desperate in my opinion and her "I've never made it to live shows" sob story was getting irritating.

I'm from Belfast and this made me laugh out loud.
Also, as for auditions in Belfast there's hardly been any talented X Factor contestants from Northern Ireland minus imo Janet Devlin. Eoghan was cringeworthy and as for Irish contestants Jedward were poor too. ETA: Plus the Conway Sisters were bad.

Upon what do you base that ridiculous assumption? I don't care enough to rant about someone leaving and the taste of the kind of people that vote on this show is hardly refined, so you are hoping in vain I'm afraid.
