That's my opinion.

She's got almost everything that creates for a contestant doing well. Likable, good enough voice and with a bit of coaching and the right song choices somebody who will get plenty of backing. Years and years back in the early days of shows like these she'd of near on walked this, it's actually bizarre how she's missed out this year.

Thank you for that incredibly insightful reply.

She's average. There's no way she would have got very far.

Louis may well have chosen her but only out of sympathy which would have been wrong. We'll never know how the public may have supported Melanie but I'm clear that she was a good singer rather than a great singer. Nicole chose acts with greater raw talent and the potential to improve. Melanie was pretty much as good as she ever will be and in my book, she just wasn't quite good enough to make the live shows. I think Nicole called it correctly.

She was robbed. You sheep keep bleeting about her lacking star quality. Because it's BS!”

Believe it or not, there is a whole world of life and people outside of Twitter..........

Apart from the show's backing, and without that... we're nowhere.

Don't tell me you are trying to blame Nicole?

Melanie just wasn't good enough. Her performance just wasn't as good as others in her category. Her downfall was returning in a year where the competition is high, particularly because she's fairly unremarkable and not memorable.

I think you will find Melanie is getting the worst posts. I find Abby boring, there is nothing to her and voice is weak. JMo. I can see her out quickly. Those are not bad comments. She is not my cup of tea, either are warbling R&B singers like Tamera.
Hannah I like.
Melanie fans are just venting now and hurt, soon it will be your turn and you will do the same. Every week someone will be disappointed and venting here.
Btw all the sobbing and my life is over if- was ridiculous tonight and I include Mel in that.
I have also said plenty of times I don't feel Mel is suited to the Xfactor but musical theatre where her excellent voice, phrasing, range and pitching would be appreciated. Get some lessons and do a Sarah Brightman. The xfactor if history serves us, just produces inevitable flopdom.

I think anybody with any real sense could have predicted Melanie was going to be eliminated the moment Nicole was given the girls. At the end of the day, it's her category and therefor her choice in who she chooses and coaches, as I said, that's just the way it goes. Melanie was basically eliminated before she even performed though, I'm sure some will try to deny it though. It's not the first time it happened (most obvious example being Cher Lloyd going to the lives).
