The acts don't have to be very versatile any more
The last acts that were varied with their songs were probably Little mix and Amelia two years ago.
Last year everyone was allowed to remain in their comfort zone James Arthur, Lucy spranggan, jahmene etc. I get the feeling that will continue this year. Shouty power ballads, standard X factor ballads, r n b ballads and maybe a combination of all three to come, not forgetting piano ballads. That's what this year will probably be. I miss the varied styles. Pop seems to have been killed off song choices as well. Particularly since Cheryl left |
