Well said, but then, I don't think Louis chose him for his credibility....anyone who chooses the X-Factor as a route to a music career is going to struggle with being taken serious as an artist.

However, a few of the more obscure ones seem to be producing some interesting stuff..

Sure there was another act who made lives who was similar... not sure who but i keep thinking it was James Arthur? Either way both their intentions were good, they wanted to do the hard graft and make it without the show, but ultimately i assume they found it too tough to break into the 'business'
i will throw this out there if this lad had not done all his 'stunts' and never looked how he did he would never in a month of Sundays made the lives... oh and i am sure his management company never paid for his spot on the lives....

I'm still trying to remember which one the hell Sam is? He clearly made no impression on me, that I can't remember! Then again very few have made an impression on me this year, I can barely remember who the finalists are!

I'm the same. Nicholas and Sam might as well be one person as far as I'm concerned. The only reason I can remember Luke is because of his Trustafarian hair.

I don't hold out much hope for the boys this year. I think Luke will go first because his voice is very weak, but the others won't be far behind.

We might even see a clean sweep of bands and boys out before any of the girls and overs.
