I felt he turned away all the groups that had some appeal and likability factor and picked all the ones that nobody would vote for. Especially the ones with the stupid haircuts.

I though Gary's picks were the only reasonable ones. I guess it really is down to taste.

The group of girls he put together were the only decent choice, but the other two 'groups'. Well I can see that being home time fairly soon.

After telling them that they weren't the best singers, I was expecting him to lay into their haircuts as well and send them home. Instead he put them throught to live shows..

I thought they were the worst of his choices and would have rather Code 4 but I can see he wanted one girl band and they were the best of a bad bunch.

Not sure their hair styles are at all relevant. You can cut and style hair but the rest of what you need to be a pop star isn't so easily obtainable
