Wildcard - My prediction
Each judge will be given the opportuntiy to steal an act from any of the other three categories from which they don't mentor.
Their choice will come from the people rejected at judges houses stage. Therefore: Gary will choose Paul (Gary took a real shine to Paul's voice) Louis will choose Melanie (Irish thing) Sharon will chose Ryan Nicole will chose Andrea These four contestants were not shown going home. Fairly confident this is what's happening. |

Will be announced on Saturday for which those 4 will become full contestants in the live shows and we will be able to vote for them as per the others.
They will be mentored by the judge who chose them. No reason why it should be mentioned before Saturday. Maybe the contestants themselves will only find out this week but who knows. However I reckon they were told before going home. We will see the judges phoning each of them on the way home/ in the taxi letting them know they are through. This montage will be shown prior to each performance. |

another fix set up? just when did the judges know about this 'twist' and I wonder how much it informed their decisions - ie, were the steals agreed beforehand? I wont put Melanie/Paul through so we can create extra drama but you pick them up next week and I'll pick up.....
It's cruel and predictable |

I'd love that, but Saturday's live show is scheduled 20:00 - 22:15, which isn't enough time for 16 acts to perform.

The only problem with that is there are only 10 or 11 weeks until the expected final (15th Dec, if they want to launch the winner's single in time for Xmas number 1, 22nd Dec if they go for the post-Xmas week release). That would mean a couple of weeks, at a minimum, of double eliminations. Of course, they've done that before once or twice, but those double weeks take away one act automatically, without judges input. The producers don't like that - have a choice of a bottom 2 for each elimination makes sure they keep control of who's in or out of the competition. I'd say, if there's a wildcard element at all, it will be a single person out of a choice of 4. It really ought to be Melanie, if anyone gets a chance to come back.

There is no Wilcard every time there is one it is revealed at the end of judges houses or teased at the end of judges houses.

I don't think anyone can be sure, but there's a distinct lack of media spoilers talking about 'shock twists'. In the past, even when the wildcard twist hadn't been announced, the media already had caught wind of it and it was circulating in the press. This year, nothing. Real shame, cos this isthe one year where there were 2 or 3 people at judges houses who deserved to go through. Previous years, it's been lots of fodder and perhaps one person who deserved a second chance. But last year's wildcard was so terrible, I wonder if they decided to leave it out, as punishment for Maloney sucking so bad!

I am pretty sure there is no wild card this year. It would have been mentioned last night to give us a chance to vote. I think Paul would have got it over Melanie anyway. Although I think Melanie should have got through, I also feel Paul was more robbed and was the best of the boys and a genuine possible winner.

As much as I would love them to do something like that I don't think they will as I think they would have announced it by now.

Maybe the flash vote will include voting for one of these four to enter the lives then ?
There will be a twist and we haven't seen the last of those 4. |

These four contestants were not shown going home. . Gosh, yes, you're right. Very coincidental that there was one from each category that was left out ! I also found it strange that all the "no"s met their family & friends at the airport. All the families of the "yes"s were told to be at home to meet their kids. I think without exception. yes?no? |

If there is any wildard, which I am not saying there is it will be the 5th judge gimmick, a chance for the viewers to stick up for Mela- er...choose a wildcard.

It's been confirmed that there is no wildcard as much as I would like it to happen it's just not part of the plan this season.

I don't have any definite sources , am in America this year, but I do have reason to believe there might "possibly" be that kind of twist. At this point, unlike my spoilers previous years, take that with a grain of salt, but I thought I'd share all the same.
