We need another girl group like The 411!
I think there is definitely a niche right now for a sexy, edgy and slightly urban girl group like what The 411 were.
They were amazing, and impressively managed to bag two top 5 hit singles in a very short-lived seven month career. I still listen to On My Knees and Dumb all the time as they sound as fresh as ever! On My Knees; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O6Hr-DkyLVo Dumb; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OU4kws6n700 Teardrops; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_L5HvgirCKQ (Love the video for this one. It was so artistic and noir-like for a girl group to do, especially with Tisha getting her baps out )I would just love to see a girl group like The 411 emerge again. Perhaps Miss Dynamix on this year's X Factor have the potential to be the new sexy and edgy girl group that are sorely missing from the charts? Or maybe The 411 could just reunite for next series of The Big Reunion and be rightfully given a second chance to dominate the charts again

Love their song Dumb. Did they ever release an album?

![]() If their label released the album after Dumb, it would have likely been a completely different story |

Another example of a record company not investing enough time, effort and patience in a group with huge potential.
Dropped at the first hurdle. No wonder people think x factor is the only way forward. It's sad. |

Their singles were great! Would love them to reform or be part of Big Reunion.

They were a little ahead of their time, if they debuted now they'd be in with a better chance.

Their album was rubbish. With different song writers and producers they could have gone on to better things.

The sampling of That aint my style by main ingredient for on my knees is pretty good but Im not surprised they split after teardrop, its a very lazy rip off of sour times by portishead...professor green standards.

Their singles were good but the album was awful. It was called Between the Sheets.
Tbh we need a new En Vogue-style girl group with great vocals/harmonies. Apart from Mutya-Keisha-Siobhan, there's no one filling that category at the mo. Last edited by fruitloop27 : 09-10-2013 at 14:16. Reason: Added album title & MKS section. |

I can not remember them. I watched the videos and vaguely recall the songs. I don't think I watched the videos.

I still have some 411 songs on my phone! I love Dumb in particular! I liked them and also agree with others that they were given the push too soon.

Those were some good singles. I haven't listened to their album but can imagine it being a let down. There were a lot of girlbands around at that time though...
