2 Broke Girls- 7.60m (2.6)
The Big Bang Theory (r)- 7.94m (2.5)
Mom- 6.61m (2.1)

FOX:
World Series- 13.19m (3.8)

NBC:

CW:
Hart of Dixie- 1.13m (0.4)
Beauty and The Beast- 870,000 (0.3)

I understand that DWTS is an older skewing show, but didn;t know Castle appealed to a lot of older people. Seems like ABC on Mondays are targeted more for older audiences as NBC gets much higher demos despite getting the same sort of ratings in general.

Wondering why TO hasn't had a full season order by now, it's performing well above everybody's expectations.

World Series is a bit of a damp squib, Boston are hammering St Louis, presume that'll effect the rating.

Awful, awful ratings. Surely it will get axed this season?

X Factor is dying a horrible slow death. But then Fox were incredibly stupid to stick the first live show on a different night, up against The Voice, and expect any other outcome. I know the baseball screws stuff up, but they really needed to find another way round it. As it stands, now the World Series finished at game 6, the XF results are on tonight as per usual, but a repeat of Glee gets the 9pm slot. They ought to have waited one more week, and run the first live show starting next week. But, what's done is done, and I think the audience won't be much better for the results show. The only thing that persuades me that Fox will stick with XF beyond this season is that they won't have baseball to contend with next year. That leaves them with a month of scheduling they haven't had for a long time. Unless they have a rich and full pipeline with several new shows (XF can take up to 4 hours of Fox's weekly schedule sometimes), they don't have a great deal to replace it with.

I would tend to agree with you. It isn't as if any other Fox show is doing amazingly well either or that they have a clear replacement for the XFactor, which must surely be cheaper to produce than any scripted content.

I guess it depends on whether or not they have a new reality/talent show that they can put out in its place. However i suppose it also depends on whether or not Simon wants to continue to flog a dead horse and face further embarrassment by being on a low rated TV show.... where are those 20million viewers he claimed the show would have?

I would expect viewing figures to increase a little bit next week.

Additionally it can't be a results show on next, they did the results in the actual show. Is it not a "meet the top 12" type show? I can't imagine that will rate very highly.

Assuming it has a 13 episode order, it still has another 7 episodes. Its questionable if CBS is going to stick with it. I presume it depends on if they can wrap up all storylines up within the 13 episodes, which they might not if they were confident of a 22 episode order being given once it started to air.

World Series damaged everything in sight. Bad night for the CW, can't wait until the World Series is over, it is ruining Arrow so much! Not surprising, both the World Series and Arrow are aimed at more males. Those demos are not good in the slightest, series low

Criminal Minds- 10.62 (2.4)
CSI- 9.59m (1.8)

FOX:

Super Fun Night- 5.42m (1.8)
Nashville- 5.23m

NBC:

It is a Meet the Top 12 style show - it's basically filler because I believe the seventh game of the World Series would have been aired tonight had it gone to the final match.

In hindsight maybe FOX should have given The X Factor the winter/spring slot where it wouldn't be thrown all over the place and American Idol in the fall as it had a loyal audience already but that's easy to say in hindsight as American Idol has recorded heavy declines too.

But surely they could swap it with Blue Bloods on Friday night which pulls in more viewers for a similar demo? It seems such a waste in that slot.

Now that Boston has won the series, I suppose the ratings can go back up now for broadcast shows. That being said, I'm worried for The Tomorrow People as it is now on a 0.6 rating. If it rises next week, we are back on track. Despite this, it must be pleasing to see The CW having five scripted shows that are doing either great business or showing promises. The Originals is definitely getting a full-season order and The Tomorrow People might too, only if the ratings improve by a two tenths (0.8). ANTM is getting a 0.4 to 0.5 on a weekly basis and that is a passable number for Friday. I am wondering if Tyra will keep the Guys & Girls format for next season? It seems like the logical option, since they did get renewed for their 21st cycle (It will be their 11th season/year airing overall). It's (still) much better than The Face, the other modeling show with unlikable judges, host, contestants and is very inferior.

Modern Family is spared against The World Series, but interesting how Super Fun Night is left to fend for themselves. Maybe it's a sign that it will definitely move to Tuesdays in 2014. I'm not counting that Suburbgatory will do any better though, when it returns. As for X Factor doing horribly on Tuesday, it's a telling sign now. This means that their live shows won't bode that well. If American Idol don't improve anytime soon, FOX will not have anymore singing shows left by 2014-15 season. I don't know why X Factor even got a renewal to begin with.

If I was running one of the other networks, I would wonder if it was worthwhile running new programming against Denver at New England on November 24th, because that's another 25 million plus one, I'd imagine.

Wow Halloween nightmare for X-Factor even if it was a meet the 12 special, although all the networks suffered. The Vampire Diaries was pre-empted in NY so should see a bump in final ratings.
