TVD really can't afford to drop any further. I knew putting it on a Friday was going to kill it

You, Me and the Apocalypse facing cancellation?
http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/201...ek-21-2015-16/ You may have gathered by now that I detest the show?

No, i think it will limp to an eighth season. Plus a 0.4 is very good for a friday CW show.
The only show i can see being cancelled this season is Reign. |

http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/201...ek-21-2015-16/ You may have gathered by now that I detest the show? ![]() It was one of those shows that tease with end of the world stuff and then leave it all till the last 5 mins of the series. I hope 'Undateable' and 'The Mysteries of Laura' are renewed. TMoL is getting a bit bog standard but I like the character. |

I think the fate of TMOL will be determined on how well the midseason shows do. Laura averages between 1.0 to 1.2. If Heartbeat and Game of Silence do much worse, then Laura will be safe.
As for Undateable, I have not got a clue. It was a successful show to begin with but it was as if NBC wanted an excuse to cancel it by putting it on a friday. I don't like the show personally but I think they should keep it and pair it with Superstore next season. I don't think You me and the apocalypse's future rests entirely on it's US performance. It's a british-american production and it rated rather well on Sky 1, managing about 600k-800k an episode. |

The Walking Dead - 13.74 million
Shameless - 1.59 million Billions - 1.01 million Vinyl - 700k I am shocked at how poor Vinyl has done. 700k is not great for a debut one hour drama on HBO. Especially with the amount of hype and advertising the show has had for a while. Maybe it will do better on HBO NOW, the network's catch up service. |

And boy, did it feel like that at times. The lead actor is very good though as is the actress playing the Girl Friday character. It is, however, typical Scorsese fare with repeated violence, drugs, swearing and sex galore which can get quite tiresome. I think it is a show that is looking to win Emmys and Golden Globes tbh. None of the characters are particularly likeable and the storytelling is quite bleak, though I felt sorry for the black musician who was getting ripped off artistically. I don't know - if the rest of the series is anything like the pilot in terms of mood and atmosphere, I think I can see myself giving up on it at some point like I did with Mr Robot.

Glad the Middle was up, seemed to be getting hurt by 2 broke girls, a pretty weak start for Survivor though.

Bordertown and Cooper are very much in line for cancellation. But it's difficult to know for certain when FOX have said they will no longer take notice of live ratings. |

A few more ratings here. http://variety.com/2016/tv/news/walk...gs-1201710675/ Quote:
‘Walking Dead,’ ‘Better Call Saul’ Premieres Pack a Ratings Punch for AMC Despite falling a bit from its peak run in 2014, AMC’s “The Walking Dead” remains the biggest entertainment series on television in key demos, with last week’s premiere episode attracting more than 20 million viewers in three-day ratings that include VOD, DVR playback as well as digital viewing. It teamed with a season high for “Talking Dead” and a solid season-two premiere for “Better Call Saul” to cap a big two nights for the network. Nielsen estimates that the midseason premiere of “The Walking Dead” averaged 19.1 million total viewers and 12.1 million adults 18-49 (9.5 rating) in “live plus-3” estimates. This is a jump from the show’s fall finale in November (18.3 million total viewers and 11.8 million adults 18-49) and the zombie drama’s best numbers since last fall’s premiere (19.5 million total viewers, including 12.8 million adults 18-49). I see ITV2 have Bordertown, looks like it won't be for long if the US ratings are anything to go by.
