Bizarre headline on Digital Spy?

It's 3.8 rating this week is exactly the same as last week, after adjustments.

An eight-year low though:

http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/201...8-2016-oscars/

Time zone-adjusted ratings for the Oscar ceremony show it averaging a 10.4 rating in adults 18-49 and 34.3 million viewers, down from 10.8 and 36.6 million last year (declines of roughly 4 percent and 6 percent). That’s the lowest total audience for the Oscars since 2008.

Blindspot returns down. Scorpion hits a series low. JTV and CEG are tied.

Damn Lucifer. a 1.3! However it held on relatively well to Gotham's 1.5. Expected Blindspot to hit a 2.0 with that Voice lead in.

Lower than usual for Supergirl.

1.3 is still good for renewal. I think the only reason it rated so high in it's early episodes was because of The X Files.

Finales for Muppets and Carter are poor. Poor numbers for New Girl. Dreadful numbers for Brooklyn 99.

Having only ever seen André Braugher before in "Last Resort", I can't watch "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" without half-expecting the Captain to launch a nuclear missile!

Great start for The Real O'Neals. It even increased on it's second episode. Problem is, how well will it do when it premieres in it's usual tuesday slot next week.

Rosewood returns poorly

CSI Cyber does moderately good. For some reason, CBS are airing the show on a wednesday and sunday for the next two weeks.

I thought Apocalypse had bottomed out at 0.6 but apparently not! It's down another tenth this week.

Not surprised by The Family. It kind of deserves it, tbh, and it has nothing to do with the actors. It's created by Jenna Bans who is a writing alumni of the school of Shondaland, cue lots of flashbacks, twists, sub-plots, and shady characters. Seriously, ABC needs to go cold-turkey on anything Shonda-related right now - Scandal is an absolute mess ATM. You see the style in almost every one of their dramas, they are becoming a tiresome bore to watch. HTGAWM utilises that structural and stylistic pattern better than others, but even that show had a bit of a ropey first-half to its sophomore season. The Family is probably the worst of the list of dramas that use this faux-Shonda vehicle, and that is saying something given how juvenile Quantico is.

ABC are a mess at the moment and have been for a couple of years.

I'll keep that in mind when next I'm frothing in the mouth over something I've watched on their network and I'm perplexed why I hate it so much. Thanks

The worst bit about The Family isn't so much the unlikeable characters (so far so Shonda - but to be fair those kinds of characters are all over most dramas these days) as the relentless misery of their manipulative unlikeability. It hasn't let up in any way in the two episodes aired so far.

Last night's. It's fair to say Lucifer is comfortable around that demo and will 100 per cent be renewed. Not that FOX are bothered by live ratings anyway.

I think the midseason break was just too long for Quantico. I watched the latest US Pace episode last night and I had forgotten half of what had happened. I no longer care who did it or why.

Blindspot adjusted down from 1.8 to 1.7

Better Call Saul - 2.20 mill
Bates Motel - 1.55 mill
American Dad - 1.14 mill
Major Crimes - 3.49 mill
The Fosters - 840k
Damien - 750k
The Magicians - 670k
Recovery Road - 480k

Not a good start for Damien. A number like that on a network like A&E isn't what you call a hit.

So happy that Grimm finally wasn't fractional anymore as it adjusted to a 1.0.

As for Mondays, that's solid for Gotham and Lucifer's 1.5 and 1.3, excactly the same as the week before. They look compatible to me, just wish Lucifer could be at a 1.5 also.

Not good for Damien.
