I am hearing through the grapevine that Of Kings and Prophets bombed last night. Another flop for ABC. They haven't had a good season this year.

Prophets bombs O'Neals tumbles in new slot Limitless hits another series low ABC have only had one successful new show this season and that is Quantico, which may not do well live, but does wonders in DVR and managed a second season renewal. The continuing poor performances of ABCs new shows could actually help the likes of Castle and Nashville. ABC's poor performance is similar to how NBC were doing last season. |

A 0.8 debut is dreadful and the Real O'Neals fell to a 1.1 already, a terrible mid season along with all their other shows returning down with season or series lows. ABC have really collapsed this year, apart from Friday's, the Wednesday comedies and Greys Anatomy they have some big problems.
They have a new boss in charge now. Channing Dunghey. She's been with ABC for 12 years. I am sure she will help ABC out next season. |

Incredible numbers for the preview of Little Big Shots (2.9 in the demo) – although that’s largely going to be down to The Voice lead-in.I bet NBC are hoping for similar numbers when the programme premiers on Sunday (I’m doubtful though). |

FOTB up to a 1.4 is great to see.
The biggest rating and success goes to Little Big Shots with a 2.9!! It looks like a lot of fun, I've seen bits and pieces online, I hope it can do well when it moves to Sunday. |

No change for Rosewood, which has taken a hit since returning. The Carmichael Show returns poorly. |

Series low for 100. Legends drops. No changes for Scandal and Murder It really surprises me how well Life In Pieces does. I recently got around to watching it and its essentially a poor man's CBS version of Modern Family but without the mockumentary style and told in 4 small segments instead. I only wonder if it has done well purely because TBBT is it's lead in. The Millers was big in it's first season and when they took it away from TBBT the following season, it sunk. I have also noticed that Legends Of Tomorrow hasn't matched the ratings and the acclaim as Arrow and The Flash has. |

There is only so much DC/Marvel (superhero-type) stories that fill people's TV schedules I guess. The only shows I don't watch in this genre are Supergirl, Agents and LoT. Sometimes it feels like genre overload right now.

Greys is still solid whilst the other 2 ABC shows are dropping fast.
Only proper positive is that Mom tied its season high, most other things hit series and season lows. |

Good point. How well The Catch does might give some clues about whether Shonda's dominance is beginning to wane on viewers. I also think she needs a show that is less frenetic than Scandal has become or HTGAWM is in danger of becoming. (I know she didn't create HTGAWM but her prints are all over it as an exec producer much like she is in The Catch.) I don't watch Grey's but I'm thinking that because it is set in the medical field it doesn't give Shonda and her collaborators too much scope to go all bats**t crazy in her storylines and plots. Could be wrong, as I say I don't watch the show.

This could become one of the biggest, if not the biggest, ratings story of the season! WOW!!! ![]() Ratings: NBC’s ‘Little Big Shots’ Even More Impressive Sunday, Nears 15 Million Viewers Quote:
One week after a special preview episode of “Little Big Shots” airing behind “The Voice” delivered surprisingly strong numbers, the NBC alternative series was even more impressive in its regular timeslot bow Sunday. In fact, it basically matched last Tuesday’s demo average while rising to nearly 15 million total viewers, making it the dominant broadcast program of the night.
According to preliminary national estimates from Nielsen, NBC was the broadcast leader in key demos Sunday, opening with an encore of last week’s “Little Big Shots” preview episode (1.2/4 in 18-49, 8.0 million viewers overall). It was followed by the timeslot debut of the Steve Harvey-hosted series (2.8/9 in 18-49, 14.8 million viewers overall), which beat the combined young-adult audience of chief timeslot competitors “Once Upon a Time” on ABC and comedies on Fox. Compared with last week’s preview (2.9/10 in 18-49, 12.81 million viewers overall) logged the best 18-49 rating for an alternative series premiere since Fox’s “The X-Factor” in 2011, “Little Big Shots” was basically even in 18-49 (2.8 vs. 2.9), up 16% in total viewers (14.8 million vs. 12.8 million). It became NBC’s most-watched regularly scheduled Sunday entertainment telecast in 11 years (since “Law & Order: Criminal Intent” in March 2005). And among all regular-timeslot series debut, last night’s “Little Big Shots” was the most-watched since the September 2014 launch of CBS’ “NCIS: New Orleans” (17.37 million). |

Little Big Shots rules the night. The Carmichael Show rises. CSI Cyber bows out quietly. |

I bet NBC are hoping for similar numbers when the programme premiers on Sunday (I’m doubtful though). 14.8 million viewers and a 2.8 demo (and on a Sunday!) is very impressive for the premier of Little Big Shots. |

I hate to quote myself, but it looks like NBC got what they must have been hoping for!
