They have had a terrible year. If it's not new shows flopping. it's their established shows declining.

That's a massive drop for The Carmichael Show, even allowing for Easter!

Hence my comment, I'm stunned they have renewed as much as they have, especially with the new woman in charge.

Although can they afford to dump so much?

The Flash actually! And it was freaking adorable. It's just a shame we can't watch Grant and Melissa doing their 'dorky cute' thing together on a weekly basis. They're the TV equivalent of watching a basket of playful kittens!

It does go to show that DC crossovers can occasionally work, but it requires the right kind of crossover. This was fun, upbeat, and fit well into the superhero genre. It also somehow lifted the whole show, which does seem to be struggling to find direction right now. For sure, the whole Kara/James thing seemed a bit redundant when you've got Grant Gustin and Melissa Benoist displaying bags more chemistry that the supposed main pairing on the show!

It just makes me hope for Supergirl in the Flash universe on CW. And let's be honest, it's pretty likely, given the uptick in the ratings for SG would probably be duplicated for The Flash. Supergirl just needs a 2nd season for that to happen!

Great returns.

Blindspot got a 1.6 after a Voice 2.6 so Med getting 1.8 after a Voice 2.3 is great. Also fantastic that Fire also got 1.8.

Shame Fire went down to a 1.7 on the Tuesday finals.

Weds earlies:

CBS:
Survivor- 9.43m (2.1)
Criminal Minds- 9.34m (1.8)
Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders- 7.32m (1.4)

ABC- All repeats

NBC:
Heartbeat- 4.81m (0.9)
Law and Order SVU- 6.03m (1.4)
Chicago PD- 6.69m (1.5)

FOX:
Rosewood- 5.13m (1.4)
Empire- 12.24m (4.7)

CW:
Arrow- 2.44m (0.9)
Supernatural- 1.56m (0.6)

Massive return for Empire, which also helped Rosewood rise by like 5 tenths. Arrow rose 2 tenths and PD rose too. Heartbeat held from it's low 0.9 for its premiere.

It seems as if Rosewood can only perform when Empire is by it's side. Which isn't good long-term.

Yeah we've all seen shows every year which are lead In Dependant and crumble without the big lead in but Rosewood is a rare occurance of the opposite

A show totally Lead Out dependant

Life In Pieces ends it's season with a drop. Rush Hour flops. The Catch drops. Shades of Blue and Grey's both rise.

An even bigger drop it appears:

Thursday final ratings: ‘Big Bang Theory’ adjusts up; ‘Scandal,’ ‘Life in Pieces’ and ‘The 100’ adjust down

It was a double-header though and overran the slot usually occupied by Mom.

Big Bang Theory was abnormally low, even with the upward adjustment.

The 100 has clearly run its course but there's at least one more season to endure. Stopped caring myself after the first six episodes of Season One.

I dropped 100 around the episode 6 mark myself. But in general, i normally ending up dislike The CW shows and apocalypse type shows anyway.

Country music awards dented a lot of shows last night. Including a series low for OUAT.

The 100 was actually the next show I was going to check out, as it's up on Netflix. I checked out the trailer though and thought it was a bit meh but still wanted to give it a go. I'll probably just miss it altogether.

Now that is is half way through it's run, i think it's fair to say Damien has been a flop and will most likely be cancelled.
