Oh i love thursdays because of the shondland shows. Although this time around, we have no Scandal due to being delayed to midseason. I think Notorious will be a hit and it has a great strong time slot. Despite not being from Shonda Rhimes, it has all the ingredients of one. I think Notorious will fill in that soapy gap that has been left behind from Revenge and Nashville. They failed miserably with Blood and Oil.

Yeah CBS goes to cilvilization on the 27th. But then NBC goes away from civilization from the 17th of November for the same reason.

Very good night. I did think DS would do a bit better but still good. All new shows so far have gone 2.0+. Surprising for Blackish which got its highest rating in a year.

That's a massive week-on-week drop for AHS but not entirely unexpected.

2.3 for Survivor - incredible for a 16 year old show.

Agreed, in fact when you compare a lot of shows from 3 years ago +, Survivor has had the smallest erosion out of most show currently on TV.

So surprising to have all new shows getting 2.0+. However i think Pitch + Notorious will change that (Pitch most likely). I see it getting mid 1s.

There has been a lot of love for Pitch over the summer but i honestly can't see how a television show about a female baseball player can span over a potential 22 episode season or even be interesting in any way. What will each episode actually be about. The trailer makes it look like some movie made by Lifetime.

I am eager to see how Pitch will play out.

Notorious has a strong lead in. I am predicting maybe a 2.3 or 2.5 demo

I predict a 1.5/1.7 for Pitch

quite a bit out on Pitch and Notorious. But i think you may well have been spot on if it had not been for the fact that the football was on. It has kind of ruined all the new shows getting 2 and over though. Which is a shame.

Poor starts for Notorious and Pitch. Dreadful return for Rosewood, who only did well last season because it was paired with Empire and now it isn't,
You could argue Football didn't help but everything thing else rated rather well so maybe football wasn't to blame

NBC has been forced to use Al Michaels as its lead commentator on Thursday Night Football even though it wanted to use Mike Trico. It'll be interesting to see how CBS copes when NBC is getting 20m viewers on Thursdays again.

Good to see Superstore, Greys and TGP go up in the finals. Greys is just a BEAST. Med looks too low though.

Bad for the two new ones, disaster for Rosewood.

So last night was the debuts of Mcgyver and The Exorcist

I predict a 1.3/1.4 for Mcgyver. I know that's quite high for a friday but it is a premiere after all and also a remake of a still very popular show that does well in reruns so i can a fair amount of took time to check this out.

I predict a 1.0 for The Exorcist.

Abysmal returns for Last man. Quantico and Secrets and lies.

Meh returns for OUAT

Big drop for Son of Zorn. NCIS: LA proves to be a winner in it's new sunday slot.

Im very surprised by the NCIS LA rating. Especially given that it was up against football as well for the whole 2 hours. Although it did lose couple of million viewers over the 2 hours. I am pleased though.

Z Nation - 1.03 mill
Van Helsing (double episode premiere) - 890k and 830k
Quarry - 200k

Depending on how MacGyver continues with its demo and how much it loses. CBS have got an excellent lineup on a Friday night that works very well.
