Can see it being a low night tonight. Apart from TBBT probably keeping its numbers as usual, can see Kevin Can Wait dropping to around 1.2/1.3 despite the lead-in. All due to the Presidential Debate.

That sounds about right

I foresee a big week-on-week drop for TBBT. Very nearly forgot it was on tonight, can't get used to it being on Mondays.

There was talk of the debate doing 80-100 million across all channels last week, can see the nfl being hit hard, presumably because there aren't many outside New Orleans and Atlanta that will care about that game.

It's like the old days.

TBBT is just kinda there these days, mildly amusing in places yes, but completely missable. Saying that as someone who loves seasons 1-3 of it.

They do. MacGyver (assuming it continues to do well), Hawaii Five-0 and Blue Bloods – none of them perform amazing, but decent enough for a Friday night. And maybe more importantly – they perform consistently decent every week.

However, the problem CBS have is that both Hawaii Five-0 and Blue Bloods are now in their 7th seasons – and I believe all key cast’s contracts expire at the end of the season. CBS will have to calculate their value – is it worth increasing what they pay for them considering they only perform decent by Friday standards (albeit consistently), or do they try their luck at finding new, cheaper, replacements that can do potentially the same job in the ratings.

Gotham holds. Kevin increases. I am expecting a drop for Kevin though when adjusted.

45 million for the debate - huge number, but nowhere near the figures that were being bandied about this week. How much are they miscalculating, if they can't get close to the actual number - or was it just pie-in-the-sky inflated numbers, to try and draw the audience in?

Thats not the total rating, that's just the four channels. The full rating will be out later

Finals

Big Bang Theory - 3.5
Voice - 3.3
Kevin Can Wait - 2.7
Dancing with the Stars - 1.8

Very very rare that a show can retain or even increase it's demo following on from the pilot. So bravo to Kevin

I thought the 2nd episode was better than the first and LOL a couple of times. But it does feel like King of Queens part 2.

Took it off the wrong page as had both of them open on laptop. Nearly as bad as my KCW prediction lol.

Criminal Minds and Code Black return tonight

Curious to see how both these shows will do this season. Could criminal minds suffer from the loss of thomas gibson? But could it rebound with the return of Paget Brewster? And CBS have given Code Black a bit of a reboot to help pick up the ratings, including the addition of Rob Lowe.

KCW keeping it's number is baffling!

Huge for the debate. I wonder how much audience This Is Us kept last night.
Ah I see yes Rob Lowe is now on Code Black. To be fair, didn't it do quite well anyway?

Blue Bloods does really well in Syndication though and rakes in the money still via that avenue

I think it still has at least 3 seasons in it providing the cast want to of course

Hawaii 5-0, Elementary, NCIS:LA and Criminal Minds In My Opinion will all finish there runs on CBS before Blue Bloods ends

Not really. It averaged a 1.1 many many times and was lucky to be renewed.
