As you’ve said, DVR viewers have very little advertising revenue value as it’s generally assumed viewers simply skip through the commercials. Although things like product placement do provide DVR viewers with some value to the networks.”

The whole DVR system is rather interesting

Hi. Can someone please post the details and thoughts for the openings of Supergirl, Arrow and Flash? I'm on holiday and can't open Spoiler or TvBTN sites properly. Cheers.

Great return for the Flash at 1.3 when you think at how 1.3 has been the average (or above average) for a lot of shows on other channels this year. That 1.3 is even more impressive with the awful ratings for the other 4 channels this season.

Interesting to see Arrow's return, I predict 0.8-0.9.

What an awful bunch of ratings in general. Arrow tying a series low and Frequency only at 0.4. Apparently it's half hours were 0.4/0.3 too, so that's even more terrible. NBC collapsed except for Blindspot.

Only good things are Speechless and Goldbergs. MF at a series low (I think) and Blackish seems to have found it's bottom with 1.6. Obviously I should say Empire is still big, but it's doing the opposite as S1, it will be sub 3.0 by the end of the season IMO. Strange when you think of it's 6.0+ at end of S1.

Shame- I rather liked Frequency.

Arrow got hit hard, thats really low for its season premiere, guess the poor season 4 has put people off.

Not sure why CBS even renewed CodeBlack, it wasn't a hit last season and it's numbers will only continue to decline or at best stablise in the 1.0-1.1 range which is pretty poor for CBS, Elementary can get away with those numbers as it has a very profitable Syndication deal, CodeBlack unless I'm mistaken has no deal in place yet and can't see it getting one that makes it worth putting up with those ratings in just its 2nd season, by Season 4 it'll be in CW territory if they keep it on the air.

Numbers are low across the board tho, Blindspot is doing Ok in that spot though a good schedulling move from NBC it seems.

There was the Wildcard baseball playoff game last night as well which got record numbers and featured 2 big Markets in New York and San Francisco which may have impacted some of the numbers and be a reason for the down night overall

I thought that Arrow would premiere low, season 4 has turned away/annoyed lots of viewers. Not really surprised though, the season was all over the place.

CW have quite a few shows let over for midseason. So if Frequency does continue to do bad, they can easily replace it with Reign, iZombie, The Originals or Legends of tomorrow.

True, however Reign will be getting no more than 0.4, most likely 0.2-0.3, izombie will be mustering barely 0.5 and TO around 0.4. The only thing that could do OK would be LoT, but even that could struggle looking at Arrow's ratings.

Not quite!

‘Empire,’ ‘Survivor,’ ‘SVU,’ ‘Chicago PD’ adjust up, ‘Black-ish’ adjusts down:

ABC have to get Notorious off the schedule now it's woefully underperforming dropping over a full point from its lead in and is taking How to get away with Murder down with it

At least switch it with Murder and air at 10 if they are determined to screen all episodes.

Grey's adjusted down as well. Superstore adjusted up which was good. I know the Florida markets were affected as they had news on in Miami, Orlando and Tampa so were pre-empted due to the hurricane.

Nice to see Superstore and Good Place at 1.4. That's damn impressive for NBC Thursday.

It was confirmed back in the summer that season 1 and all potential seasons of The Good Place will all have 13 episodes. So if The Good Place manages to keep this up, i would expect The Good Place to be one of the early renewals of the season.

I think they will cut Notorious's episode order, air all the episode and then replace it with Season 2 of The Catch.

MacGyver down again but is helping Hawaii Five-0 more than The Amazing Race did.
