TWD!! brilliant

Here's the Monday earlies:

CBS:
Kevin Can Wait- 1.6 (7.88m)
Man With a Plan- 1.6 (7.32m)
2 Broke Girls- 1.4 (5.70m)
The Odd Couple- 1.1 (5.68m)
Scorpion- 1.2 (6.95m)

NBC:
The Voice- 2.7 (10.98m)
Timeless- 1.4 (5.68m)

ABC:
DWTS- 1.6 (10.93m)
Conviction- 0.8 (4.92m)

FOX:
Gotham- 1.1 (3.44m)
Lucifer- 1.0 (3.60m)

CW:
Supergirl- 0.9 (2.77m)
Jane the Virgin- 0.6 (1.50m)

Must note CW is pre-empted so most likely will go down! Jane will be probably back to 0.4 in the finals!

Shame that Lucifer is now at a firm 1.0-1.1 instead of 1.3+. About what I expected for all of CBS. I don't see Conviction surviving....

Kevin can wait has fallen a fair bit. Meh start for Man with a plan. To premiere with a 1.6, likely means it will probs fall to a 1.3 (just a guess) next week and then continue to fall further.

TImeless seems perfectly comfortable around it's 1.4 demo. But i think that show's demos will be one to keep an eye on throughout the season. I personally would expect a back nine order soon. Or maybe an extra 5.

Timeless does OK for 10pm, even after The Voice I guess. It seems to always win the timeslot, but would be very disappointed if it didn't after Voice. However, i can see why people feel very underwhelmed when they see Timeless' ratings especially seeing how well This Is Us is doing. Timeless is retaining half of the Voice audience usually but TIU the last 2 weeks has increased on The Voice.

But you know, not everything can do a This Is Us.
I personally think we will start to see bigger declines for TIU, I just find it too unbelievable to think it will keep it at 2.5+, I reckon it will average 2.0-2.1 across the rest of the run, which after The Voice, is still fantastic.

But anyways back to Timeless. I wonder if NBC will decide it's fate based on the fact that it's winning the slot, OR based on the fact that it only retains half of the Voice audience and maybe will go fractional without a Voice lead-in?

I know not every show can be like This Is Us and I agree it does do well for 10pm. I personally don't see it as underwhelming but everywhere else i read, seems to view it as one

As for This Is Us, it's high demo are most likely a fluke. But now i have said that, i am prepared to be proved wrong. But Look at how big Blindspot was last year. It saw a decline when it returned after xmas and only has managed to maintain just under half it's audience in season 2. But even if it maintains just over 2.0, that's still big for NBC.

Glad to see Big Numbers for the World Series, its quite a Big Historical Matchup with both teams having Long Long droughts of winning and with Chicago being a Massive market and Cleveland a fairly big one I Expect the Numbers to remain high throughout and should get really high if it goes 6-7 Games

NCIS:LA ties NCIS, It has the Football boost on a Sunday but still thats a nice little achievement

Off topic but how is Walking Dead so popular? I just watched it for the first time, the latest episode and it's way too sadistic and way too melodramatic.

Mediocre says I. 😉

I don't know about anyone else but i dropped the show as I no longer cared about the characters and I feel the show is just going through the motions with no real end game in sight.

Not much to write home about in today's ratings.

There'll be plenty to write about tomorrow with the return of "BIG THURSDAY"!

Ahh yes

Mom and Life in pieces return tonight and The Great Outdoors and Pure Genius make their debuts.

Pure Genius is only the show from CBS's slate of new shows that I thought actually looked really good.

It is off-topic, but I'm not sure how you can criticize a Zombie apocalyptic Horror show of being too sadistic or melodramatic, it's kinda in the description.

It does what it does incredibly well, and the shock of someone that has grown as a character for 7 years dying as he did is of course a big thing.

Little Monster may have gone off it, but of course you're not going to care if you've never watched before. Would you care if you wandered into Games-of-Thrones and only watched the Red Wedding.

The ratings are a good reward for building of characters and making you care when they die horribly.

My predictions for last night

2,0 for Pure Genius
1.5 for The Great Indoors
1.8 for Life in pieces
1.7 for Mom

Life In piece's performance will be interesting this season as it doesn't have Big bang as a lead in.

Not bad for the ABC comedies despite the competition, not good for DS though.
I think Blackish has been strong this year in terms of quality and a 1.7 is not bad at all to follow MF at 2.3

Yep, I agree pretty much, expect I'd have The Great Indoors at a 1.6.

Either way, the NBC comedies will be in danger. I predict a 0.8 for Superstore and a 0.7 for TGP
