Hope this stays the same in adjusted ratings. It's on a roll this series.

Interesting

Because Joey worked so well.

(I'm aware Frasier did. )

Ahh but this is different. Joey and Fraiser were continuations. Sheldon is going to be a prequel, done in a Malcolm In The Middle type style by the sounds of it.

What does this tell about TBBT and a possible season 11?

If this prequel is coming next season this could suggest the end of TBBT.

In the report it say's that it is designed to run alongside TBBT. Of course this does not mean it will be renewed. Its going to be very expensive, but got a feeling it will get at least 1 more season to at least run alongside this as a lead in. Ideally i think CBS would like a 2 season final renewal.

Sounds like something they'd make for The CW?

Series low for Scorpion
Season high for Jane (unless adjusted which it normally is)

Scorpion had a 1.1 last week as well, Total Viewers is up this week tho so technically its not a series low

Conviction is a dead show walking, and ABC was preempted so may even get worse, ABC are having a trully dreadful season all across the board everything is a disaster barring Greys

Prior to adjustment, scorpion scored a 1,4 last week. I comment on shows prior to adjustment. I have done in every single ratings post i have ever done. Brian normally comments on the adjustments in the later ratings. This is a series low based on before the adjustment. We will see later on what the final number is. It's total viewers increasing is irrelevant anyway.

Fair enough, I wouldn't be so quick to declare a series low before knowing if it actually is but if thats the way you've always reported the early ratings then Fair enough

Total Viewers is relevant in the case of a Tie, If it does get a 1.1 again in the finals then Total Viewers will be used to judge if its a series low rating or not

Total viewers does not come into it i would say. The demo is what matters and if its a series low, its a series low.

Just as an example

NCIS i think is getting reasonably close to it viewers as it has done (viewers down across the board in general anyway), but its demo's are down quite a bit. Obviously there is reasons for this that you can say (cast changes, age of viewers getting older). On the other hand TBBT has lost viewers over the last couple of years but still pulls in high demo's.

That was what i was referring to. Thanks Brian.

Monday Finals.

http://www.spoilertv.com/2016/11/fin...-monday_8.html

Solid for CBS. I know some will say its poor considering the drop over the 2 hours. But i would say everything has found its level for them and they will be reasonably happy. Although they will make changes for next season im sure.

Im sure ABC will bite the bullet soon and basically cancel Conviction soon.

I know all that I'm refering to using viewers as a mesauring point when a show gets the same demo as it's series low

Say for example a show airs 100 episodes to then Rank every episode in any sort of table from high-low the ties (in this Instance a 1.1) would be ranked by viewers

You will see When sites list daily ratings for example on TV By the Numbers they will split ties by viewers as well
