The Good Place has not aired since the 3rd November and i think this 2 month gap has hurt it. NBC have been promoting that it was back last night, but i think some just missed it, as Superstore had the same demo on 3rd Novemeber as it did last night. Of course the reason it has not been on is NBC had Thursday football. Its a big gap for a new show and one that is only 13 episodes long as well.

CBS had a big night with their new episodes, TBBT was 0.3 up on its last episode and everything else followed. Be intresting if anything adjusts down, but will have to wait till Monday to find out.

Nashville 1.2m

I don't imagine the upcoming 2 month gap for Gotham will do it's ratings any good either?

Would imagine Gotham could survive low ratings though, as Netflix are paying through the nose for the global lifetime of the show rights.

Gotham is going to be intresting as it is back for 3 episodes and then goes on its winter hiatus. With no return sheduled as off yet. But i imagine it will manage to keep its 1.0 rating though for the 3 episodes, maybe drop to 0.9

Im more worried about AOS as it was only getting 0.7-0.8 and i got a feeling it is going to hit a 0.6 before the season finishes.

Is that Nashville rating any good?

According to an article, that rating has given CMT it's highest rating in 5 years. But it's hard to compare it overall as CMT's programming has largely been reality shows over the years and it has only been since last year that they have began doing scripted shows. They also produce a comedy series with Billy Ray Cyrus

Its premiere 3 weeks ago got 420k so it has increased on that, although the premiere was a special event premiere and I think people missed it. It will be interesting to see if it can maintain this level.

It was a very strong episode but I don't think that was the reason for it rating so highly and I won't be at all surprised if it's adjusted much lower in the finals.

That is interesting about Nashville, thank you. Hopefully it can maintain over 1m for the series. Or, if it is going to be cancelled that they get told so it doesn't end on a major cliffhanger. Shows like Nashville don't need a ribbon tied ending because life goes on but it is frustrating when they finish on a life or death cliffhanger!

Hey thanks for keeping the thread going!

Dreadful return for Sleepy hollow. An ok start for Emerald City. Last man standing hits a season high and won the night, beating Hawaii and Blue Bloods for once.

Then again, did anyone really expect great numbers from sleepy hollow. It lost it's audience last season and then the show went and lost it's lead actress. It needs to be taken off life support.

Season 4 of Sherlock debuted to 3.7m on PBS last Sunday which I estimate gave it a rating of about 1.4 or 1.5.

Thats the second time on the trot that Last Man Standing has won the night, as it did it on the last new episodes before Christmas.

I think ABC were running late (didn't check so not totally certain) as they seem high demo's compared to normal. LMS up 0.3 on its previous high and even Dr Ken was 0.2 up on its previous season high. Also Shark Tank and 20/20 seem high to me as well compared to what they have been getting. I would think they will adjust down in final to around 1.2/0.9

Edit: My Post probably better in Cancelled or Renewed thread.
