I love reading the comments on zap2it because there are some really passionate people on the site. Many see a battle between TTP and Reign for renewal especially when star crossed and the 100 start. I have watched Reign and I have never ever come across such drivel. Obviously many Americans don't care a bit for history! Not only that but the scripts are appalling. Anyway it is interesting to see what happens. Many really like it. The CW is really the only network that can work with low numbers so they might all survive.”

NBC's live theatre show paid off!!! Bearing in mind that TBBT beat The Sound of Music in 18-49 and the musical skewed older audiences. Nevertheless, they had great ratings, despite mixed reviews.

Comments on TVbyTN/Zap2it are always hilarious. The "battle" between TTP and Reign is just as funny as Scandal vs Revenge fight. It's so amusing to see how some commenters really show their fandom to a whole new level. The funny thing now is that Scandal is eclipsing Revenge in the ratings and both shows are not on the same night, let alone competing with each other. I can see why there is a "battle" with TTP and Reign, since these two shows are on the bubble with The CW.

I think all freshman shows have potential to make full season or at least complete their initial 13-episode run. This is obviously because The CW only has two to three midseason scripted shows, compared with five or six shows (maybe 10 or 11 for ABC and NBC ) from the Big Four. Because of this, The CW has room for virtually all their shows, without needing to end prematurely or cut their episode order, should the ratings go under. TTP and Reign has average numbers but they are still very stagnant at 0.6 almost every week. Besides, other CW new dramas in the past seasons did much worse. Also, Hart of Dixie and BATB is only getting half of what TTP and Reign is getting. So, even though TTP and Reign has full season order, it would be interesting to see how they will do in the spring and if they will get renewed, when May upfronts arrive.

I am always interested to see who bashes the CW. People discuss the low wages etc in comparison to the other networks. This is why Supernatural has lasted so long. Many people are so fed up with investing in a series to see it pulled after 1 or 2 series. The writer this week said there was no way that Almost Human would be renewed. I didn't like it but it good numbers to begin with. He also said that the episodes were out of order which is extraordinary for a big network. At least the CW keeps production costs low so the writers have to concentrate more on character and narrative.

Body of Proof also aired their first season completely out of order. They filmed 13 episodes and only 9 made it to air, with the remaining four being in season two. It was so noticeable that even the character's relationships were all over the shop. Granted, it was a procedural drama, but they kept the protagonist's storyline really serialized as well.

Great comments about Sleepy Hollow and Almost Human on the US thread. They have some real trolls on there but the others keep biting which makes it so funny

Anyway SH was adjusted up which is good as I enjoy watching it. From the comments it seems that many people thought it had ended last week so nearly missed it. Two ep finale next week to enjoy.

Not sure what will happen to AH as it has gone up slightly but a 1.8 to 1.9 doesn't look very good for a show that looks like it costs a lot to produce. By chance I just watched Dredd and thought that sounds like that Urban chap. They would have been better off having him cast as the android IMO as he always comes across as robotic to me.

As far as I can make out it all depends on the average score against shows on the same network not on what the competition does. I was surprised how well the Following did in its finale. That tends to indicate that people ate watching by other means during the season and therefore ate not counted in the official numbers.

I think Almost Human may get another season. They might not give it more episodes, but i think it will get a second season and pair it up with Sleepy Hollow next fall. I have seen other sci-fi shows have much worse ratings than what Almost Human is having. Dollhouse for example.

Why is it whenever i post on here, you all ignore my posts
It's best if i don't bother on here. Especially Sav, who in the past, i have helped in posting ratings before they have, but have ignored my posts, and then proceeded to post the ratings anyway, even though i had previously. Possessive or what.

interesting posts on the US thread about why AOS has such unstable numbers. It has dropped at least 4 million viewers. One person said it was because of the on off again siltation as most people think all the shows have finished for Christmas. I didn't realise that POI had a new episode on the 17th. Like many I thought the revenge ep was a good end. It will be good to see if its ratings are affected.

Huh? I don't intend to ignore anyone. I just post the ratings and that's it. I haven't discussed the ratings with anyone. I don't have too much time.

CW has posted mid season schedule and the TTP will air on Mondays after star crossed around March time. First BATB will be on Monday and then go on hiatus. I think we all know what that means
Hart of Dixie will be on Fridays and will also have a period of hiatus. The 100 will follow Arrow so they must think it will do well with a good lead in. The TTP has initially dropped again but it seems they are hoping it will do better on Mondays. Star crossed seems far to close to Roswell but I suppose that lasted a number of seasons.

Just had a look and Cult received a zero rating in April this year. I feel sorry for the actor who was in TVD as he left that thinking this would be his breakout role. I watched one episode and that was enough.

What surprised me was the 1.1 from Grimm. It was a double episode for the finale and had been well publicised. Even if it is adjusted up less people watched the second episode. Some say this may be due to the Hobbit but I have my doubts. Personally I never liked it as I find it too grim!

Cult was a horrid show. I lasted half an episode before giving up. Tried again for another episode but can't be bothered eventually.

Looks like The Hobbit did affect Friday's ratings since all shows were down (although The Hobbit's US opening was down from last year). It's concerning for Grimm, since it was the mid-finale. American Hustle had a very outstanding per-screen average in their NY/LA opening this weekend. This may have affected shows like Blue Bloods as well. After all, NY and LA are the biggest US rating markets.

Cult's lowest ratings was a 0.1 in 18-49 demo with a 0% share!!! I remember there were many users predicting a 0.0 for that week on TVbyTN!!!! I think 90210 got a 0.1 at one point during their final season.

Just found it on zap2it. I wish I had been on the site when it was on. It is a bit mean but it is no wonder it was pulled. I will see if I can watch some more episodes to assess how bad it was!

I am still fascinated to see what happens to Almost Human. I googled to ask the question as to how low shows have to go to be cancelled. It seems on most networks (except CW) it is 1.3. I wonder if it will go that low.

From what I have read this holiday hiatus can really damage shows as people turn to cable etc.

Just read that channel 5 has dumped OUAT. Not surprised as the quality has diminished. I am just wondering if this will affect how low it must go because sometimes the foreign market can keep a show alive. I have also read about the syndication gods and the need to reach the 4th season. Could you really watch a show like like OUAT out of order?

What is it with Fox not having shows ready. I forgot about Dollhouse and Firefly. I think these were all Fox shows and all had difficult starts and never recovered.

I think Almost Human will still fall in the next couple of weeks! Not sure if it will be in any danger though.
