TBH after the dismal performances of Hostages and Intelligence last season, NCIS LA is an improvement. Once The Blacklist moves to Thursdays, I could see NCIS LA improving but I wouldn't be surprised if they end up moving to say Tuesdays at 10pm which would be overkill IMO and CBS move PoI or one of their mid season dramas to Mondays
Hawaii Five-0 and Blue Bloods are produced by CBS TV Studios so CBS can accept the low demo as they'll likely make a ton of money from syndication. But how long for though? One of them or maybe both are bound to be sent to Television heaven by the end the year |

Blue Bloods rates very high in Syndication, Hawaii not so much, it also gets more viewers as well I don't think it has ever dropped below 10 million, if the 18-49 remains almost identical throughout the year I think Hawaii would be for the chop before Blue Bloods.

Tuesday early ratings:
CBS: NCIS- 17.08m (2.6) NCIS New Orleans- 15.34m (2.3) Person of Interest- 9.83m (1.6) ABC: Selfie- 3.90m (1.1) Manhattan Love Story- 3.20m (0.9) S.H.I.E.L.D- 4.39m (1.6) Forever- 5.13m (1.3) NBC: The Voice RECAP- 9.00m (2.4) Chicago Fire- 8.39m (2.1) FOX: Family Guy (r)- 1.98m (0.9) New Girl- 2.55m (1.3) The Mindy Project- 2.19m (1.0) The CW: The Flash- 4.50m (1.8) Supernatural- 2.79m (1.2) Fantastic for the CW in general, incredible for The Flash, came 3rd in the slot! FOX did as expected. Horrific for ABC comedies, not very good for SHIELD and that's a shame for Forever however it is still doing decently at the time its on I guess. CBS and NBC having regular Tuesdays, even The Voice recap did well. |

NCIS does seem to be declining a little although for a show in its 12th season to be still pulling in 17m is incredible and NCIS New Orleans is chugging along nicely as well.
The Flash did very well, beating the ABC comedy block, I expect the numbers will decline a little in the weeks to come but it's a solid hit for The CW. |

I think ABC will cancel Forever but air all 13 episodes.
Selfie and Manhattan, wouldn't shock me if they are not cancelled by at least the end of the month or very soon |

Huge for The Flash, almost a 2.0 ![]() It's quite odd that Supernatural was down a tenth on last year given it had double the lead-in. I guess it's just one of those shows that aren't affected by what airs around it. |

Supernatural has a really strong fanbase. So, no matter if the lead in is good or not, let alone SPN being the lead in show themselves, they can still pull in good numbers. Very impressive for a show in its 10th season.

Fantastic for the Flash, those numbers are incredible for the CW, can it keep that, probably not but it should hold steady in mid-low 1's.
Big question is will it have a positive effect on Arrow tonight? Shame Forever didn't adjust up as well, its viewers arn't that bad and wins the night for the ABC shows but skewing a bit older, Hopefully ABC give it a good crack, hopefully an uptick next week. |

Jesus, The Flash at 1.9, just no words!! Odd that SPN is down though, however to still be in the Top 3 of the channel after 10 YEARS is beyond remarkable! Can we expect Arrow to be ahead of it and be the 2nd highest CW show this year with The Flash promotion? Or in other words, the highest rated CW non freshman show of the year?
So far we have this: The Flash- 1.9 Supernatural- 1.1 The Vampire Diaries- 0.9 The Originals- 0.7 Where will Arrow slot in? I know Selfie only was adjusted up one tenth but it does look better, maybe, just maybe it won't get cancelled... MLS though will have no hope at under 1.0.. especially when you compare it to what ABC gets on Wednesdays with The Middle (around 2.0), The Goldbergs (around 2.2) Modern Family (mid 3s) and Black-ish (high 2s) New Girl starting to climb at 1.4 now? Besides Gotham, it surely is pretty safe judging by how bad the rest of FOX is. |

I can imagine Selfie getting a similar scenario as Super Fun Night last season. Few additional episodes and then the show ends. MLS will get replaced in November sweeps. Can't see them completing 13 episodes on air.

#ArrowSeason3Premiere is trending not only in the US, but worldwide. Hope it opens strong and I had a glimpse (only a glimpse to avoid spoilers!) on Twitter and people were blown away by the episode.
Oh No! I just accidently saw a HUGE spoiler, I knew I shouldn't check Twitter before watching something... Wow, did not expect it ![]()

According to household ratings, Arrow didn't do too well. It said it was 5% down on last years premiere, last year got 0.9 demo, so I'd expect a 0.8-0.9 demo. Guessing The Flash didn't help it at all, which I find very odd!
If it did get 0.9, then we need to get used to the fact that it won't climb. Pretty sure the final of S1 got a 0.9, as did the premiere of S2 AND the final of S2. So Arrow is consistently at 0.9 if it got the same demo for the S1 final, S2 premiere, S2 final and S3 premiere. |

I was expecting 1.1-1.2 after The Flash. A 0.9 would certainly be a bit disappointing even if it is steady on last year.

I was expecting a tenth uplift, so 1.0. Such a shame (if we go by the households).

The Flash repeat did 2.1m which is incredible, Criminal Minds and Stalker were down but CM was still solid, I'm surprised despite having less viewers than NCIS New Orleans, it draws in the same demo. Stalker was down but demo wise is okay but I think it might be 13 episodes and out since CBS already has Battle Creek and The Mentalist for midseason

Black-ish is doing so well. Expect a full season pick up soon Chicago PD has really dropped in demos this season. Last season it was doing well over 2.0. Stalker earned a respectable 1.7. I predict maybe a few additional episodes to be ordered but i don't see a full season just yet in my cards just yet. |

Wednesday early ratings:
CBS: Survivor- 9.52m (2.5) Criminal Minds- 10.49m (2.3) Stalker- 8.13m (1.7) NBC: The Mysteries of Laura- 8.50m (1.3) Law and Order SVU- 7.60m (1.7) Chicago PD- 6.70m (1.5) ABC: The Middle- 7.35m (2.0) The Goldbergs- 6.70m (2.2) Modern Family- 10.07m (3.4) Blackish- 7.95m (2.8) Nashville- 5.48m (1.5) FOX: Hells Kitchen- 3.77m (1.4) Red Band Society- 2.89m (0.9) The CW: Arrow- 2.79m (1.0) The Flash (r)- 2.09m (0.6) I'm happy Arrow could hit that 1.0 (one tenth up on last years premiere and final) would be great to see if it adjusts up but I doubt it. Blackish for now looks like a hit, a lot of failed shows have followed Modern Family, it seem Blackish is making the most of its lead in. As usual for the rest of the sitcom block with The Middle and The Goldbergs both over 2.0 and MF at a strong mid 3. Hells Kitchen, the only slight glimmer of hope for FOX along with Gotham at this moment really as its such a consistent performer. |

Blackish should get a full season order pretty soon, its retention is very good even with Modern Family being down, overall Wednesday's are pretty good for ABC with The Goldberg's up in their new slot and even Nashville being steady year on year. Criminal Mind took a bigger dip than i expected but Stalker actually did OK considering the reviews and what other 10pm shows are doing. Arrow continues CW good week and NBC is steady with their procedural line up, the less said on Fox the better.

Meanwhile, CBS has renewed Under The Dome and Extant. I'm shocked that Extant got renewed since the ratings were very poor. Someone on TVbyTN said that the deal with Amazon and international markets may have given this show another lifeline. But, this show tanked in Australia as well. Extant also looked very expensive to make. |
