Well beauty does make them money in europe but then that can only go as far as being a continued excuse to remain on the air. I personally think it's a load of crap and one of the worst supernatural dramas i have seen but hey, i am not one to question French people's tastes.

Vampire Diaries also has a large fanbase in Italy. But to be fair, The Tomorrow People wasn't saved due to the popularity here, it was actually one of the best rated shows in the slot for E4... as is The 100 (which surpasses Hollyoaks first look continuously). |

In fairness they love any kind of fantasy or sci-fi whether French or not. |

Never knew this but Mulaney was given an instant 16 episode order when it was picked up. However production has finished on the 13th episode and it has been now been confirmed that FOX have reduced the order from 16 to 13.

It wouldn't surprise me if BatB gets another season next year, it's literally like the baby of the CW, they just don't want to let it go for some reason. I wouldn't even go as far as saying that it probably will make it 6 seasons with a 0.1-0.2 demo!

In better news, B99 is doing really well. Those numbers are really strong (they may, of course, get adjusted for the earlier football, but I think they'll still be healthy). |

FOX has plenty of shows that could replace Mulaney like Bordertown, Last Man on Earth or Weird Loners

Beauty and the Beast going on and on is turning into a long running joke at this point
![]() It would seriously annoy me though if shows like The 100 and even Jane the Virgin got cancelled over it. |

Mulaney will likely be replaced with reruns if cancelled and doesn't air it's remaining episodes. Does shock me though. Nearly 8 weeks into the new television season and not a single cancellation. That's unheard of. |

Jane It will probably adjust down but for it to hold its entire audience is still great! The Voice appears to be in decline. |

I doubt most productions have as many episodes completed as Mulaney did. 13 episodes filmed by early October is pretty high, even for a half hour comedy. They must have been ahead of the curve to get that far into their season. Reruns are less damaging to a network, because whatever numbers are achieved are essentially dismissed by commentators as not counting.
It is strange isn't it? It's like a game of chicken now, as to who folds first. Fox has basically cancelled stuff without actually cancelling! Utopia had a 2 slot schedule that allowed them to stuff the show on a Friday night, and so avoid actual cancellation. Mulaney's production has been stopped, but it looks like (for now) it stays on the air. For Fox, Gracepoint is the first one I can see they will be forced to drop out of the schedule entirely. There's no sugar coating for that one, IMO. The other networks also don't have too many ways to disguise their cancellations - maybe CBS will use the end of the football Thursdays this week to push around a few of their failing shows, at the same time as moving some of their big shows (TBBT) to different nights. Mind you, they're one of the only networks that doesn't have too many major problems with their new or returning shows. I still think FOX may air all the episodes for gracepoint, purely because 10 were ordered anyway. I don't know to be honest. FOX are in such a mess. I predict Forever and Manhattan love story for ABC's cancellations A-Z for NBC |

I agree. CBS haven't really had any flops so far. Madam Secretary's rating are a bit meh but it will likely last the whole season.

A-Z for NBC Reign's the easy answer for CW's first cancellation, and it's a toss up if Jane The Virgin will make it to full season. They may decide to air a full season, but I think it's a one-season wonder! |

The Flash and Jane the virgin both given full season renewals
My guess of A-Z being cancelled is because I think it is rated lower than Bad judge. I am not sure |

Jane adjusted down two tenths in the finals, disappointing but not entirely unexpected given the preemptions. Hopefully it can rebound next week.

A decline for About a boy. I scratch my head on why POI isn't doing as well as it once was. 1.5 is a massive decline as what season 1-3 earned. But then i don't see cancellation in my cards though. |

Jesus, what on earth has happened to About A Boy! Why do people just hate comedy on NBC? Good that Forever was up (hope it doesn't adjust down!), hopefully it can stay, I reckon a 1.2 is enough for a renewal, especially when you see other shows doing worse, get that 2nd season Forever!
Early Tuesday ratings: CBS: NCIS- 16.88m (2.4) NCIA NO- 15.87m (2.4) Person of Interest- 9.26m (1.5) NBC: The Voice- 11.50m (3.1) Marry Me- 6.07m (1.9) About a Boy- 4.89m (1.4) Chicago Fire- 7.43m (1.9) ABC: Selfie- 3.81m (1.1) Manhattan Love Story- 2.65m (0.7) SHIELD- 4.29m (1.5) Forever- 4.80m (1.2) FOX: World Series- 10.68m (2.9) CW: The Flash- 3.38m (1.4) Supernatural- 2.10m (0.9) |

Looking at that 1.2 it looks like a certain cancellation, but really it's only a few tenths behind SHIELD so perhaps it can be given another chance.

I found about a boy boring. The concept of a man who befriends a young boy and both find themselves improving each other's lives can go a very short way in my opinion.
