Big Bang Theory will see an increase once people realize it's back on Thursdays, I think CBS will be willing to let Mom grow so it's safe. The McCarthys is not going to get a full pickups especially when CBS has Mike and Molly and The Odd Couple ready to replace it.

Those are some huge adjustments - TAAHM down 0.3, Gracepoint up by 0.4?! Seems like you really can't trust those overnights any more, given just how widely they're swinging right now.
Also, I can't see Elementary lasting much longer if 1.2 was it's launch number! Unless they can stage a turnaround and bring up those ratings in the next few weeks, I think they'll struggle to get through to midseason before they're cut. They're on 48 episodes as of the end of season 2. There's an awful long way to go to syndication numbers, if that's what people are counting on to keep it on air. If they were in season 4, I'd say it was a given they'd see out the full season - with just 2 full seasons in the bag, I'd not count on the network hanging onto this one for 2 full seasons, just to get it to syndication. BTW, whilst I have a soft spot for Charlie Brown, it's sort of horribly depressing to realise that this 50 year old cartoon came 2nd in it's timeslot! Would GA really have fared so badly against TBBT - it wasn't a season premiere, just a timeslot change (although they had a surprise guest appearance by Billy Bob Thornton - which wasn't advertised)? I guess the network didn't want to risk the ratings dip, and headlines that would accompany the dip! |

CBS was prempted by football in Charlotte hence why there was downward adjustments.
Given Elementary's poor start, I do wonder whether its in danger of being cut short since CBS has two midseason dramas. Battle Creek could potentially air on Thursdays |

With A-Z cancelled, that marks British Actress Lenora Crichlow's second flop US televison series in less than 18 months.

I thought for a bit of fun or interest, we could do our own predictions for next year's renewals and cancellations, purely based on the first two months.
I know it is very early, but if we do it, and then look back next May, we can see what we were right on or not. I'll go FOX The Simpsons - Renewed The Family Guy - Renewed Bob's Burgers - Unsure (depends how Bordertown does but it is the lowest rated out of all the animated shows and it will qualify Syndication once the season is over) Bones - Renewed (Final season) Glee - Final season confirmed anyway The Following - Yet to air Sleepy Hollow - Renewed Red Band Society - Cancelled Gracepoint - Cancelled Gotham - Renewed New Girl - Renewed The Mindy Project - Cancelled Brooklyn 99 - Renewed Mulaney - Cancelled CBS CSI - Unsure NCIS - Renewed The Mentalist - Final season confirmed NCIS: LA - Renewed The Good Wife - Renewed for seventh final season Hawaii Five-O - Cancelled Blue Bloods - Renewed Person Of Interest - Renewed Elementary - Renewed but purely for syndication purposes. Madam Secretary - Cancelled Scorpion - Renewed NCIS: NO - Renewed Stalker - Unsure Two and half men - Final season confirmed Big Bang theory - Renewed till season 10 Mike and Molly - Yet to air 2 Broke Girls - Renewed Mom - Renewed The Millers - Unsure The Mccarthy's - Too early to know NBC L&O: SVU - Renewed Parenthood - Final season confirmed Grimm - Renewed Chicago Fire - Renewed Hannibal - Yet to air The Blacklist - Renewed Chicago PD - Unsure The Mysteries Of Laura - Cancelled Constantine - Unsure Parks and Rec - Final season confirmed About a Boy - Unsure Bad Judge - Already cancelled A-Z - Already cancelled Marry Me - Renewed ABC Grey's Anatomy - Renewed Castle - Renewed Revenge - Cancelled Once upon a time - Renewed Scandal - Renewed Nashville - Renewed (for syndication purposes) Agents of Shield - Renewed Resurrection - Cancelled Forever - Cancelled (i believe this will be a future cancellation ASAP) How To Get Away With Murder - Renewal (i expect a very early renewal) Modern Family - Renewed The Middle - Renewed Last Man Standing - Unsure The Goldbergs - Renewed Black-ish - Renewed Selfie - Cancelled (i believe this will be a future cancellation ASAP) Cristela - Cancelled The CW Supernatural - Renewed for final season The Vampire Diaries - Renewed for final season Hart of Dixie - Cancelled (apparently has but no confirmation) Arrow - Renewed Beauty and The Beast - Cancelled The Originals - Unsure Reign - Unsure The 100 - Renewed The Flash - Renewed Jane The Virgin - Unsure |

Damn, bad ratings for NBC last night.
Grimm got a 1.1 and Constantine a 0.9. Why Grimm?

Not looking good for Constantine after all the hype, are they worse numbers than Dracula last year?
Constantine started with 1.4 and dropped to 0.9. So, yep, by quite a bit. |

Really bad night. Halloween just dented everyone. I wouldn't be worried about Constantine yet as everyone was affected. Even Grimm.

The only winner from Halloween Night is Shark Tank!!! All others under 1.5 rating. Amazing how CBS retained the same audiences throughout in 18-49, even if it's a low number.
For those interested, new daytime talk show, Meredith Vieira, has been renewed for a second season (Link: http://www.broadcastingcable.com/new...tations/135256). Amongst daytime talk shows, Dr Phil, Live! and Ellen are the Top 3 rated shows. Wendy WIlliams reached a series high. The Real, The Doctors and The Better Show are the bottom 3 shows (Link: http://www.broadcastingcable.com/new...heights/135173). |

Then again, i am ignored and my opinions often seem less relevant than others. If Salv had done this, you all would of followed and jumped on the idea like a tramp on chips. and have little to no understanding of how US network TV works. I only watch a few shows, and I'm still trying to figure out what that household 1.1., 1.2, 0.9 wotsits means. I understand the ratings bit - I'm thick like that, see - but that other figure still perplexes me no matter how much I googled it for an explanation. I get that it is to do with demos 18-49 for obvious reasons. But as a figure, it really doesn't explain itself to me.So I tend to lurk. Anywho, of the shows I do watch anf for what it is worth, I think Madam Secretary is too close to call. I wouldn't be surprised if it was cancelled. But it seems to doing well in the Sunday night slot it has been given. It is safe, inoffensive family viewing, and there is little bite to it at the moment. Arrow/Flash: renewed Scandal: renewed HTGAWM: renewed (and Violet Davies Emmy nomination or I will eat my hat, if I had one) Castle: renewed for one last season only - what more can they do with show? Nashville: renewed (just) - perhaps with a shorter one or for one last season Chicago Fire: renewed. Chicago PD: too close to call; maybe renewed for a shorter season or else cancelled. Persons of Interest: renewed. Graceland: cancelled. Will be surprised but happy if renewed, but I don't know where they can take the show with the finale they had. Constantine: too early, but 2nd episode was definitely a lot better than the 1st one. It has David S Goyer as Exec Prod and he did the story for the 1st episode which went nowhere. I didn't much like his writing for Man of Steel, so if he writes anymore episodes, it might sink because I really don't like how he writes The Affair: too early; is it a one off show? Masters of Sex: renewed Of the shows I attempted to watch but couldn't get past the first epsiode and judging from the Forever thread, I think it will be cancelled too. Which is a shame because Ioan really needed a break and I wanted him to do well in this. I loved him in Hornblower. He gave an interview some time ago saying how difficult it has been for him to get roles. Constant rejections took its toil and he has to see a psychiatrist. |

I didn't complete a set of predictions because i don't know enough about it and it would take too long for me to do it. I am not that invested in the US ratings to have an opinion on all the tv shows and their likelihood of renewal or cancellation. |

Oh geesh, why on earth do you constantly make reference to being ignored and feeling like the forum is getting at you? I barely even notice who posts what on this forum let along have any specific desire to ignore certain users. You clearly have some ridiculous chip on your shoulder and no doubt you will accuse me of "bullying" you for writing this. I am writing it because i want you to understand that a) No one is picking on you and b) no one is specifically ignoring you.

As far as predicting staying or going I am in no position to give any sort of valid prediction. I do not know enough about US tv to comment, heck my knowledge is based on what is shown in the UK and only at Freeview pace oh and Castle of course.. I am your man to give an opinion on that, but none wants to read my biased witterings (?) about why I think this season could be it for Castle.

FOX seems to adore the show, even sometimes over New Girl. Mindy was actually doing better in the spring than it was in the fall I think, so if anything, would they do a very short summer season? CSI. I think last year will be its final season, I would say it would be this year, BUT as it's been on so long, they will feel they need to warn viewers who have been loyal to the show because after so many years, it would be harsh to end it quickly. Madam Secretary- Tricky, but I feel it will be renewed based on consistency, same as Mysteries of Laura. The McCarthy's will be replaced by Mike and Molly by 2015 I feel for some reason. Hannibal- Hmm. Critically acclaimed but not doing very well, would they move it to cable? It seems it belongs there on HBO maybe with Game Of Thrones. About A Boy- Poor show, I have no idea what has happened, I feel it won't see a third season. Marry Me- Take it away from The Voice, it would be pulling in A to Z numbers I feel. Cancelled. ABC... spot on for all shows IMO. Supernatural- I agree with you, last season next year. Same with TVD. This will leave a big gap for the CW, maybe the CW will be scared to get rid of them both in the same year? Beauty and The Beast- Who knows? I have no idea with this show! |

Utopia CANCELLED.
http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/201...by-fox/323115/ I saw this from a mile. It was probably FOX's biggest mistake in broadcasting history, spending so much money on something that ended with a 0.5 |

RIP Utopia
Salv, i can't help but feel The CW will be lost without supernatural and VD. They have essentially been the show's flaghship shows for years. But then they do have The Flash and Arrow to take over though. |
