The Odd Couple will premiere after The Big Bang Theory on February 19th sandwiched between it and the series of Two and a Half Men. I'm surprised they are ending TAAHM early, would have thought they would stretch it out until May
Yep. The schedule..

The Big Bang Theory
The Odd Couple
The Big Bang Theory REPEAT
Mom

Last night proved that Mom can get a solid ratings following a repeat (around 2.0) which is as high as most CBS goes nowadays, BUT Mom will struggle because it would be facing The Blacklist and Scandal... and maybe American Idol...

Mom will get slaughtered to low 1s IMO.

Should we be worried about Mom then?

A major decline for The Mentalist. Resurrection is still bombing. Revenge slips. Burgers increases.

Thanks for the Sunday earlies little-monster! I forgot to post Friday's too, but most things did badly because of sport, Grimm only got a 1.1, but finals have been released just now and it adjusted up thank goodness! A Very Grammy Christmas- 4.73m (0.8)

ABC:
Last Man Standing- 6.66m (1.2)
Cristela- 4.64m (0.9)
Shark Tank- 7.22m (1.8)
20/20- 6.27m (1.4)

NBC:
How Murray Saved Christmas- 3.57m (0.9)
Grimm- 4.96m (1.2)
Constantine- 3.17m (0.8)

It's ending this season anyway but I'm also inclined to believe CSI will end this season, it's demos are in the toilet as are The Mentalist and Revenge.

Forgot to add a little titbit I learned about the George Eads incident, apparently during the heated arguement with the pregnant writer he did shove her, Don McGill has allowed him to leave the show to pursue new ventures, unofficially McGill axed him. No one is going to hire a hot headed troublemaker.

Your welcome Salv

I know The Mentalist is ending this season but found it odd the premiere managed 1.6 but then slid to a 1.1

Reading my previous reply to your post I come across as a arrogant know all, sorry 😳

It certainly is odd how it has slipped, wonder if Neilson has issues again.

Sunday cable ratings (top performers) and others.

Discovery:
Eaten Alive- 4.11m (1.8)
Naked and Afraid- 2.30m (1.0)

BRVO:
Housewives of Atlanta- 3.06m (1.5)
Watch What Happens Live- 2.45m (1.1)

TNT:
The Librarians- 5.35m (1.3)

SHOW:
Homeland- 1.95m (0.6)

Monday early ratings:

CBS:
2 Broke Girls- 7.74m (2.0)
Mike and Molly- 7.95m (1.8)
Scorpion- 9.91m (2.1)
NCIS LA- 8.54m (1.6)

ABC:
Great Christmas Light Fight- 7.64m (1.9)
Castle- 8.04m (1.7)

NBC:
The Voice- 10.64m (2.5)
State of Affairs- 6.27m (1.6)

FOX had repeats.

The CW:
The Originals- 1.41m (0.6)
Jane the Virgin- 1.24m (0.5)

People still have some sort of immense dislike towards Heigl! SOA is not doing very well is it? Would have thought they'd have expected at least an average of 2.0 after The Voice! Surprised Jane was up.

Still to early to say but i would say SOA is doing good. Not amazing. It's doing good.

Heigl's arrogant attitude and her and her mother's behaviour behind the scenes of many of her films has essentially ruined her career. Her mother Nancy is her agent I think and wherever Katherine goes, Nancy is right there. She reduced her role in Grey's anatomy season 6 by asking for several episodes off to look after her newly adopted daughter. The day she was due back, she failed to make it on set and was released off her contract. How she got away with that, I do not know. She signed a contract promising ABC and Shonda Rhimes to stay until season 8. They could of sued her but i guess her legal team found a way around. Pretty much two seasons worth of Izzie and Alex material was rewritten and I think it showed, as the quality dropped a little bit and Alex was a character in a walking daze who never rebounded until about season 8/9. Before that, she complained they gave her nothing to do during season 4. She also slagged off Knocked up, the film that essentially kicked started her career.

She has a major red mark next to her name. Her last few films have bombed, while she has lost out to other films roles as director's refuse to cast her. and she has had to come back to television where her career originally began (Roswell) with her tail between her legs while her career hangs by a thread. She needs this show, much more than NBC need it.

Heigl burnt bridges with many people. She got lucky with Knocked Up and she should have used that as a stepping stone.

Heigl's last film hit was The Ugly Truth, which was back in 2009. All her films after that either underperformed or tanked badly. State of Affairs is dropping and NBC really don't need this show come midseason. Their retention from The Voice is not good anyways. Imagine if this show was on FOX, think of how lower the ratings would have been. Speaking of NBC related things, Bravo (NBC/Universal owned) can get rid of some Housewives show as New York and Beverly Hills is becoming more of a liability to the franchise and the network. Then again, Top Chef barely scrapes 1 million viewers and that's their only acclaimed show.

The Flash did well along with Rudolf and the annual Victoria Secret Fashion Show . It's a bit of a tradition.

ABC Family's Christmas specials have performed pretty well for them. On Monday The Fosters got 1.93m/0.7, its third highest rated episode ever. Switched at Birth got a respectable 1.30m/0.6 after it.

Pretty Little Liars is definitely showing its age now with 2.09m/0.9, but it's still the highest rated show on the network. Chasing Life got a steady 1.22m/0.5.

I hope Chasing Life increases once it has The Fosters as a lead-in. I think they're much more compatible.

Thanks for the ratings to both. As expected for the normal channels.

As for the rest...PLL should have done better IMO. Also I have binged through Benched which I have been very surprised with. Its a really good comedy imo. Its been climbing for around 5 weeks now. Its on the USA network and got 1.01m (0.4). I also started to watch Sirens on the same channel.

Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, The Voice adjusted up a tenth. Supernatural and The Mindy Project adjusted down a tenth in finals. TVbyTN comments section is becoming a comedy now.

David Letterman's final Late Show has been confirmed for May 20th. I imagine CBS will be hyping this from the start of next year and I wouldn't be surprise if there is a retrospective on his career as well perhaps on the same night in primetime.

Stephen Colbert's first Late Show has yet to be announced but the general consensus is late August/early September.

Wow, About A Boy really has had a fall from grace between its first and second season. It’s starting to look like a third season is really unlikely.

Victoria's Secret Fashion Show ... adjusted up a tenth.
That’ll be all the people watching it back in slow motion or re-watchng it again and again to properly ‘enjoy’ it.

Yes, I think CBS will be hyping up Letterman’s final shows, hoping for a boost in their late night ratings (if not their primetime ratings too). Plus they will be hyping up James Corden’s new Late Late Show in March too. There’s lots of potential buzz to generate for CBS in terms of late night over the next 9 months. But they need it, their late night ratings are miles behind NBC right now, practically compared to The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.

And personally I’d love to see a primetime special with highlights of Letterman’s 30+ years in late night television. It would probably be a ratings success, and cheap to produce too.

What will be interesting though is seeing how CBS are going to try and hold an audience over the summer gap between Letterman and Colbert, and how this will affect Corden’s new show too. There’s a big risk they will just be sending even more viewers over the NBC at 11:30pm.

Jane the virgin bagged two golden globe nominations

One for best comedy and one for best actress

I can't ever recall any CW shows ever being nominated for these type of awards.

If anything, at least CW can boast their "Golden Globe Nominated" tag for their future promos.

A decline for Stalker and Chicago PD. I think that might actually be a series low for PD

Comedy night dominates as usual.

Wednesday early ratings:

CBS:
Survivor- 9.39m (2.4)
Criminal Minds- 10.08m (2.1)
Stalker- 7.29m (1.4)

NBC:
The Mysteries of Laura- 8.03m (1.2)
Law and Order SVU- 6.86m (1.4)
Chicago PD- 6.63m (1.4)

ABC:
The Middle- 8.09m (2.2)
The Goldbergs- 7.40m (2.2)
Modern Family- 9.68m (3.1)
Blackish- 7.38m (2.3)
Nashville- 5.65m (1.5)

FOX:
Hells Kitchen- 3.56m (1.2)

The CW:
Arrow- 3.04m (1.0)
The 100- 1.67m (0.6)

Damn, wish Arrow got 1.1-1.2, I doubt it will adjust up. Steady for The 100 which gets 0.5-0.6 no matter how well Arrow does before whether it's 0.8 or 1.4 (its lowest and highest this season).

Great for the ABC comedies, especially The Middle which built quite a bit.
