I'm wondering if CSI could be shunted to a Tuesday 10 pm slot. That must be its biggest rating for a couple seasons and for it to be after a repeat block of NCIS & NCIS New Orleans is good going. Also the 3rd new episode in less than a week after Sundays double bill

I agree. The new timeslot could have potentially saved CSI.

Great for ABC, especially Scandal, huge rating!! Not very good for The CW really! As expected for CBS.

Great rating for the last ever episode of Parenthood too.

Jane has risen since the golden globe win and renewal
Reign has been renewed and yet earns an awful rating like that

I think the CW were careless and too premature with renewing Reign.

Odd

Go Scandal.

I think Backstrom is only going to go lower.

Actually, last season in its Wednesday slot it was hitting 1.6 at the lowest. 1.7-2.0 was it's ratings base. The Sunday slot has affected it like fellow CSI spin-off, Miami, which fell close to 35% in its first season there. CSI's rating on Tuesday was better than usual, showing the effects of the Sunday time-period, but it had no competition and only got a 1.6. It did hold 100% retention though, your right. But, as you also say, it's the third episode off-the-trot, making us wonder if CBS are ripping through the order to get it out of the way? With stars like Ted Danson crossing over to Fargo, could the show that empowered procedurals finally bite the dust? I hope not. I love CSI.

Actually Ted Danson worked it out with the CSI producers so he could do Fargo. Ted Danson is 100 per cent committed to the show, but with CSI having less episodes, he obviously wants to do something else while on a break.

NBC:
Super Bowl- 102.32m (35.0)
Super Bowl Post Game- 72.93m (26.1)

What about the The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon which did a live special from Arizona after The Blacklist (and local news)?

Friday finals:

CBS:
Undercover Boss- 8.13m (1.3)
Hawaii Five o- 10.50m (1.5)
Blue Bloods- 11.87m (1.3)

ABC:
Last Man Standing- 7.51m (1.3)
Cristela- 5.69m (1.0)
Shark Tank- 7.93m (1.9)
20/20- 6.01m (1.5)

NBC:
Constantine- 3.29m (0.8)
Grimm- 4.85m (1.3)
Dateline- 4.53m (1.2)

FOX:
Funniest Fails- 3.07m (1.1)
Glee- 1.85m (0.7)

CW:
Hart of Dixie- 1.02m (0.3)
Masters of Illusion- 0.88m (0.3)

Sunday finals for NBC:

Super Bowl- 114.40m (47.5) *best Super Bowl demo since 1986.
The Blacklist- 26.5m (8.7)
The Tonight Show- 9.8m (3.6)

All things considered, incredible figure for the Super Bowl, which makes The Blacklist demo look really weak. New Girl managed to do much better following the Super Bowl last year, and that's a sitcom which usually gets less than half of the demo that TB gets in normal circumstances.

Monday early ratings:

CBS:
2 Broke Girls- 9.29m (2.4)
Mike and Molly- 9.80m (2.2)
NCIS LA- 9.68m (1.7)

ABC:
The Bachelor- 8.37m (2.5)
Castle- 7.52m (1.4)

NBC:
Celebrity Apprentice- 6.94m (2.1)
State of Affairs- 4.69m (1.1)

FOX:
Gotham- 7.32m (1.9)
Sleepy Hollow- 4.34m (1.4)

CW:
The Originals- 1.47m (0.7)
Jane the Virgin- 1.25m (0.5)

Not great for Gotham, is that a series low? CBS did better than I expected up against Apprentice and Bachelor, that's higher than usual for 2 Broke Girls. The Originals still holding onto a solid 0.7.

2 Broke girls seems to earning some of it's highest ratings this season, which confuses me, as the show is on a small and steady decline.

Im guessing Little Monster was Implying the quality the show was on a small and steady decline which was why they found the ratings increasing a surprise.

I'm watching it at UK Pace so have only see Episode 1 of the season so far so can't comment on the actual quality of this season if it has decline or not.

Good night for CBS even Scorpion repeated fairly well, I think Scorpion will be the show CBS posts behind the Superbowl next year.

The Mccarthy's has been yanked from the schedule, and although no confirmation, that normally means a cancellation.

Weds early ratings:

CBS:
The Mentalist- 8.93m (1.2)
Criminal Minds- 10.33m (2.0)
Stalker- 7.34m (1.3)

ABC:
The Middle- 8.24m (2.2)
Fresh Off The Boat (Series Premiere)- 7.93m (2.5)
Modern Family- 9.86m (3.4)
Fresh Off The Boar (2nd Episode)- 7.56m (2.4)
Nashville- 5.06m (1.3)

NBC:
The Mysteries of Laura- 6.30m (1.0)
Law and Order SVU- 6.21m (1.3)
Chicago PD- 7.51m (1.6)

FOX:
American Idol- 10.95m (3.0)
Empire- 11.47m (4.6)

The CW:
Arrow- 2.89m (1.2)
The 100- 1.59m (0.6)

There honestly are no words for Empire. It's a monster and has hit yet another high! Unbelievable! FOX must be so beyond ecstatic. Fantastic for Arrow. It's only a tenth below The Flash, and it's in its 3rd season! Incredible going! The 100 grew to 0.6 but it's only getting half of what Arrow is getting.

Great start for Fresh off the Boat too, good move putting it here for the two first episodes to get people talking... but next week it's moving to the dreaded Tues slot! Even if it halves in that slot, it will still be doing better than Selfie and MLS.

Oh is that where is it is moving? Such a shame it can't remain on Wednesdays, but it can't due to Blackish and The Goldbergs. Fresh has something that MLS and Selfie never had, and that was great early reviews and hype. Fresh has been one of the most anticipated new shows of midseason, so let's see if it's audience carries on over to Tuesday.

Weds finals. Idol adjusted up, The 100 and FOTB 2nd episode, down.

CBS:
The Mentalist- 8.97m (1.2)
Criminal Minds- 10.48m (2.0)
Stalker- 7.35m (1.3)

ABC:
The Middle- 8.26m (2.2)
Fresh Off The Boat (Series Premiere)- 7.94m (2.5)
Modern Family- 9.87m (3.4)
Fresh Off The Boar (2nd Episode)- 7.47m (2.3)
Nashville- 5.05m (1.3)

NBC:
The Mysteries of Laura- 6.37m (1.0)
Law and Order SVU- 6.20m (1.3)
Chicago PD- 7.58m (1.6)

FOX:
American Idol- 11.21m (3.1)
Empire- 11.47m (4.6)

The CW:
Arrow- 2.94m (1.2)
The 100- 1.51m (0.5)

That's not good for The 100 if we are looking at retention, its kept around 41% of Arrow's audience. But it usually always gets 0.5 anyway, whether it has a 1.2 lead in or a 0.2 repeat lead in, so it's very consistent at 0.5.

I'm thinking either Scorpion or The Odd Couple if the latter shows promise in the ratings.
