Thursday earlies:

CBS:
The Big Bang Theory- 16.83m (4.5)
Mom- 11.78m (2.8)
Two and a Half Men- 9.41m (2.3)
The Big Bang Theory (R)- 8.19m (1.9)
Elementary- 7.83m (1.5)

ABC:
Greys Anatomy- 7.88m (2.2)
Scandal- 9.53m (3.1)
How To Get Away With Murder- 8.32m (2.7)

NBC:
The Blacklist- 9.95m (2.3)
Allegiance- 4.93m (1.1)

FOX:
American Idol- 9.50m (2.4)
Backstrom- 3.63m (1.0)

The CW:
The Vampire Diaries- 1.67m (0.8)
Reign- 1.00m (0.4)

That is pretty awful for the premiere of Allegiance, as the phrase is, I think it's "dead on arrival", not good for Backtrom either.

Decent for The Blacklist after its superbowl episode. It's clear that shows that air after the Super Bowl and do incredibly well, all of them get knocked down further the week after. So, IMO, the Super Bowl lead in is more of a hindrance than a pro. Happened to New Girl last year, after the SB episode, it dropped even further when it returned and were getting series lows.

Really think a Reign renewal was wrong. It will go to a 0.3 in the next few weeks and go sub 1m.

Big Bang and Mom as steady as ever. The latter matching its series high again. Hope it stays and doesn't adjust down, if it adjusts up (unlikely), it will be a new series high.

Also, who else is looking forward to The Odd Couple? In theory, it should do well, but I can see it flopping like comedies have been doing for ages now.

Hmm i don't know Salv. Comedies are a mixed bag at the moment. Only Blackish has really been the big new comedy hit this season.

How awful is that for Alegiance. I smell a cancellation coming before the end of the month.

You're right. And some may say that Mom is only doing well because its behind Big Bang, but I guess we will see.

Hope Fresh off The Boat does solidly in the death slot, I watched it and I actually enjoyed it. Reminds me of what my Italian family are like

How To Get Away With Murder- 8.34m (2.7)

CBS seem confident since it's got the lucrative spot Big Bang Theory slot and it's a known title as well. I wouldn't be surprised if CBS renews it anyway as it's CBS owned.

I do think they should have Mom at 9pm when Odd Couple premiere and keep the Big Bang repeat at 9.30pm or even switch Odd Couple and Mom.

Yep, I think Mom is holding onto a bigger portion of TBBT lead in compared to other shows. The Millers could only get between 2.2-2.5 when Big Bang was getting 5.3-5.5. So for Mom to get 2.8 after a 4.6 Big Bang is respectable.

Hoping Mom can do over 2.2 on its own.

And The Odd Couple in theory should do well, like you said, it's a known title, after Big Bang and Matthew Perry too, which I have missed from the screen. I reckon it will debut in the mid 3s. But it depends how good it is on how to predict how well it will do, I'm taking a guess that it will manage the same as Mom (so between 2.6-2.8).

If Glee was more like this season after S2/S3 it wouldn't have fallen off so hard. It lost its way with Ryan Murphy focused on other projects (AHS).

Nonetheless I'm glad it's going out on a high quality wise.

Monday earlies:

CBS:
2 Broke Girls- 9.02m (2.3)
Mike and Molly- 9.17m (2.2)
Scorpion- 11.49m (2.2)
NCIS LA- 10.13m (1.6)

ABC:
The Bachelor- 8.63m (2.7)
Castle- 7.40m (1.6)

NBC:
Celebrity Apprentice- 4.87m (1.4)
State of Affairs- 4.01m (1.0)

FOX:
Gotham- 5.64m (1.8)
Sleepy Hollow- 3.88m (1.2)

CW:
The Originals- 1.21m (0.5)
Jane The Virgin- 1.36m (0.6)

Ooh, what happened to The Originals? Great for Jane there for increasing. A new show increasing from a sophomore doesn't happen often. Gotham has dropped quite a bit. Good night for CBS with great consistency for the two sitcoms and Scorpion. The less I say about SoA, the better.

I don't think it was due to RM doing other projects. I just think they did so much in season 1, they were burned out. Plus RM's show all have a habit of declining in quality. Nip-Tuck did, and so is AHS. He isn't a great showrunner at all, and the people who work under him are not fantastic either.

I think that's awful for sleepy hollow. Season 2 has caused a bother with some people. Even FOX confirmed there have been creative differences and the show's future is very much up in the air. I think a third season will occur but it won't be 18 episodes and likely midseaso as well as it being make or break.

NCIS:LA is now back to more acceptable ratings since it’s no longer competing with The Blacklist.
I think a 7th season is probably likely now.

It actually adjusted up to 1.7 and 10.35mil as well so even better

It is better seeing it on the rise but whilst I agree its numbers at the start of the season were slightly lower then expected It was never in any danger of being cancelled, and a 7th season is a 100% lock.

When CBS moved it they would of expected a drop off as the Monday night 10pm slot has been a struggle for them recently and NCIS:LA has been a vast improvement on last years dire offerings of Hostages and Intelligance in that slot that it is bringing the average of the night up even if its numbers are down.

It’s widely thought that CBS is going to axe one of these two at the end of the season, but their ratings are always so close it’s going to be a difficult decision to make – if that is what they decide to do.
Blue Bloods performs better in syndication and gets slightly more (all be it older) viewers, these factors might make it the winner. Production costs may play a factor though... I’m guessing Tom Selleck’s salary is the highest of any from the two shows. And it has been known for Hawaii Five O to get a better demo rating (with less overall viewers).

As a fan of both, it’s going to be interesting to see what decisions CBS make.

Not good for NBC! Fresh off The Boat made a good start on the dreaded 8pm Tuesday ABC slot and it helped the following two shows perk up a bit. Great to see it increase in its second episode. Brilliant for The Flash being up two tenths!

I have a feeling Agent carter may get a second season, but midseason with eight episodes to cover the gap between the break SHIELD has.

Salv, Beauty has been given a fourth season. But in an unusual way, The CW didn't confirm it, the show's production company did.

Empire on top
Law and Order hits another low
Comedy domination doing good as well. I have been a bit mixed about Blackish. Too many episodes were about black stereotypes, but this episode was actually about valentines day and character development. Need to do more episodes like this. Because i was close to stop watching. The black stereotype thing worked well for a few episodes but grew old. The Jeffersons did this a lot in their first season.

Thanks little-monster! Here are the finals of Weds. Arrow, Empire, American Idol adjusted up, The Goldbergs, The 100, Laura, The Mentalist, Blackish and Criminal Minds all down.

CBS:
The Mentalist- 9.10m (1.4)
Criminal Minds- 9.89m (1.9)
Stalker- 7.64m (1.4)

ABC:
The Middle- 7.82m (2.1)
The Goldbergs- 6.87m (2.2)
Modern Family- 9.77m (3.3)
Blackish- 6.83m (2.1)
Nashville- 5.18m (1.4)

NBC:
Mysteries of Laura- 5.82m (1.0)
Law and Order SVU- 6.12m (1.4)
Chicago PD- 6.58m (1.4)

FOX:
American Idol- 10.66m (2.8)
Empire- 11.96m (4.8)

The CW:
Arrow- 2.67m (1.1)
The 100- 1.36m (0.5)

Empire... again, no words! It keeps climbing, I wouldn't be surprised if it will be in the mid 5s by the end of this season if it keeps going like this! Fantastic for Arrow! Shame the 100 ALWAYS adjusts down! Still solid for the ABC block.
