I agree little-monster, these are the sort of ratings Glee was getting in S1-S2 was it not? (maybe not as high, but Glee was getting 5s before I think) Nowadays, it can barely pull 0.6.

Thursday earlies had everything bar Mom and Elementary affected by DST. Everything dropped except those two shows which grew.

I find it interesting if you go to the first page on this thread! Look how different ratings were. Sleepy hollow getting a 2.7! Hart of Dixie still at .4! The Blacklist difference!! Mom is now in the same slot as it was in the opening post and its doing better now than 2013!

The Blacklist seems to lost some of it's audience this season. I remember everyone raving about it last season, but season 2 has lost hype and divided a lot of opinions.

I think if The Blacklist was still on Monday nights it would be doing well. Some shows just shouldn't change nights.

DST has been affecting shows badly quite recently. Also a lot of repeats, so won't include them.

Better for The Flash, but adjusted up for that and down for Izombie, it doesn't look that good for Izombie. NBC wins the night by a mile, and respectable return for Undateables, I reckon it should be stable because it's a great sitcom getting good reviews, however OBH may drop a lot because of some extremely negative reviews.

Salv, how does that not look good for iZombie. 0.8 is very good for a new CW show. No one expected it to debut high like Arrow and The Flash did.

In relation to One Big Happy, while 1.6 is s solid demo, for a series premier it’s probably likely to only decline before stabilising somewhat. And at 1.6 it can’t afford to decline too much. As you’ve said, the critics didn’t seem to like it, so that might be the beginning of a problem. I initially thought that having a popular name executively producing it (Ellen DeGeneres) would have guaranteed it some success, but then I remembered that ‘Guys with Kids’, which was executively produced by Jimmy Fallon was cancelled after one season so maybe there’s no guarantees in my logic.
Personally I haven’t watched it yet, might give it a go tonight.

There have been some concerns for the show not doing well, because the lead character is a lesbian. So people already have a bad opinion of the show anyway. If you do look at a lot of shows on television, there are not many lead characters who are gay or lesbian. It's always a supporting character or a guest character who is. You would hope One Big Happy could try and change that, but i have a feeling it will not, and may lead to the ignorance and failure that led to Ellen Degeneres's last two sitcoms, where one sitcom famously had it's lead character come out after four seasons of being straight, and then one a few years later where her character was an established lesbian anyway.

If your going to have a lead character who happens to be gay, do it on cable. But broadcast networks will simply not accept it.

One of Empire's lead characters is gay and has had quite a few snogs and PG13 style love scenes. Doesn't seem to have harmed ratings there.

And Will & Grace did okay too.

But he is a supporting character, not a lead. He isn't the primary main character. I am on about the main lead character. Would Scandal have done well if Olivia pope was a lesbian, and would House have done well if he was gay? I bet they wouldn't and that is annoying and sad.

and yes Will and Grace is a rare exception.

Holy effing at Empire! It damaged nearly everything in its way. Sad for Arrow, but it did well considering, hopefully it adjusts up!

Ah sorry about that, just saw it now. I expected 1.0 to be perfectly honest. If I wasn't visiting the TVBTN site, I would have said 0.8 is great, but all the US viewers have stated that it got an immense amount of promotion, the same amount that Arrow and The Flash got before their launches and that the CW promotion for it cost them a lot of money, hence why people think .8 was a bit poor. It's not poor IMO, it's "OK" to me. But with a general drop off of around 20-30% for CW shows, it will be around 0.6 which IMO wouldn't be too good behind The Flash.

I have to think given a choice between them right now it makes more sense to get another season of CSI then Cyber or Stalker which are still 3 years plus (as neither has a full season) away from Syndication and Stalker isn't owned by CBS either.
