Agreed, surely a very likely renewal because they need a retuning comedy on NBC. It's gotten better and better as it went on. Initially, I didn't think it was that funny, but it's certainly found it's footing in this 2nd season.

Me too. Same applies for Backstrom.

I reckon NBC renews Undateable for certain and will air it after Coach next season.

Tues:
8pm-9pm: The Voice Results
9PM- Coach
9:30pm- Undateable

That' if OBH doesn't return, if it does then maybe Tues will stay the same, but Coach may get the post Voice slot of Monday, but I reckon it would be too late for Coach to be on at 10pm

Backstrom I kinda understand as it did rate well for the first few episodes. But Weird Loners was a flop from the start. A third flop show in a row from Becky Newton.

That bad eh? I gave up after the first episode so can't judge what came later.

Damn, Mom below 2s! Hope it adjusts to a 2.0! Winner of the night by far goes to Greys Anatomy which has a brilliant night as one of the shows much loved characters dies. Thought Scandal would have benefited more from it. My God, horrific for American Crime. TVD in trouble next season, it'll be below The 100s av IMO next season. Reign got a pity renewal, it should be axed, it'll get .2 next year.

Why was Cyber on twice this week?

I have become a recent fan of Reign and managed to binge all two seasons. It's on the wrong network and it's too risque for The CW, that's why i reckon it does not rate well. But if i am honest, last night's episode was really boring. The CW have had nothing but complaints about the show since it aired. I am glad it got a third season though and I think it will get a fourth to reach syndication. But The CW make no money from Reign. CBS does.

The shock of losing a popular character might have dampened viewers' mood, although it seemed the news got out before the show aired via a mag interview Patrick Dempsey gave, so a few people were prepared (but only a very few). And besides, the current state of Scandal has divided people. Lately, it has either become too ridiculous in its plotlines or too boring in its storylines.

Yep, I've heard Scandal hasn't had the best of seasons.

Friday ratings haD the biggest surprise for me ratings wise in the entire TV season alongside Empire's success.

CBS:
The Amazing Race- 5.92m (1.1)
Hawaii Five o- 8.28m (1.1)
Blue Bloods- 9.75m (1.0)

ABC:
Shark Tank- 7.79m (1.7)
Bruce Jenner, The Interview- 16.86m (5.2)

NBC:
Grimm- 4.70m (1.0)
Dateline- 4.33m (0.9)

FOX:
Night Of The Museum 2 (FILM)- 3.02m (0.9)

CW:
Barber Battle- 1.36m (0.4)
Who's Line is it Anyway?- 1.25m (0.4)
The Messengers- 1.20m (0.4)

That ABC interview rating

I did ask above but i think you missed it
Salv*
26-04-2015
I don't know actually. I didn't even notice it when I typed up the ratings. Maybe they are doing two a week and quickly getting the season finished? Just like the first series of Undateable in the summer burning it off showing 3 in one night.

Sun earlies:

CBS:
60 Mins- 10.16m (1.1)
Madam Secretary- 10.43m (1.0)
The Good Wife- 8.74m (1.0)
Battle Creek- 6.18m (0.7)

ABC:
Funniest Home Videos- 6.05m (1.5)
Once Upon A Time- 5.13m (1.7)
Secrets and Lies- 5.75m (1.7)
Revenge- 4.51m (1.0)

NBC:
Dateline- 6.01m (1.0)
AD The Bible Continues- 5.72m (1.1)
American Odyssey- 2.93m (0.7)

FOX:
Bobs Burgers- 2.03m (0.9)
The Simpsons- 3.30m (1.5)
Brooklyn Nine Nine- 2.79m (1.5)
Family Guy- 3.16m (1.5)
Last Man on Earth- 3.23m (1.4)

Wow, Secrets and Lies hits a series high. I'm sure that alongside Empire, its the only new show on normal TV to surpass its premiere rating for an episode. It's surely a certain renewal now. It's done incredibly well after starting with a 1.5. I'm quite surprised that The Simpsons is still so young skewing considering how old it is. It seems that it loses its audience from older times and always gains younger, newer audiences.

MS is so old skewing! Wow 10m+ and a 1.0! Compare that to Family Guy and Brooklyn Nine Nine getting 8m lower but .5 of a demo higher!
little-monster
27-04-2015
I think CBS must be regretting MS's renewal. If it's earning those demo's next year, then it would be a waste of renewal. MS's demos make Stalker look like a smash hit.

Indeed, not dissimilar to Blue Bloods though which is also one of CBS's and in its 5th season. Although Blue Bloods airs on a Friday which I assume has lower expectations than Sunday (not that Sunday has that high expectations!).

Sunday used to be so highly rated a few years ago. It was often one of the highest rated days of the week. Desperate Housewives remained one of the highest rated sunday shows for all of it's eight seasons. It saw a decline in it's later years but it never ever went as low as a 1.5. These days, a handful of shows are earning as low as 1.0.

Mon finals:

CBS:
2Broke Girls- 6.57m (1.6)
Mike and Molly- 7.19m (1.7)
Stalker- 5.70m (1.3)
NCIS LA- 7.82m (1.4)

ABC:
DWTS- 13.22m (2.0)
Castle- 8.31m (1.3)

NBC:
The Voice- 10.49m (2.6)
The Night Shift- 4.94m (1.2)

FOX:
Gotham- 4.58m (1.5)
The Following- 3.46m (1.2)

CW:
The Originals- 1.20m (0.5)
Jane the Virgin- 1.06m (0.4)

CBS fell apart without Scorpion weirdly enough!

Tuesday finals:

CBS:
NCIS- 14.85m (2.0)
NCIS NO- 14.55m (1.9)
Person of Interest- 8.45m (1.4)

ABC:
DWTS 10th Anniversairy- 10.07m (1.7)
SHIELD- 4.57m (1.5)
20/20 Captive- 5.88m (1.4)

NBC:
The Voice- 9.49m (2.2)
Undateable- 4.53m (1.2)
One Big Happy- 3.08m (0.8)
Chicago Fire- 6.85m (1.6)

FOX:
Hells Kitchen- 3.25m (1.1)
Weird Loners- 1.42m (0.6)

CW:
The Flash- 3.93m (1.5)
iZombie- 1.69m (0.7)

Ouch to a lot of shows here. The Voice's drop in the last few weeks have really affected the NBC comedies, which usually NBC has bad luck with comedies, this doesn't help. I can't see OBH returning now. Biggest and best rating has to go to The Flash which received a huge rating. 1.5 for the CW at this time of the year is just unbelievable. Hoping Arrow can increase a tenth to 1.1 later today then! Big mention to Chicago Fire which remained at 1.6 despite drops across NBC for the other shows.

Nashville- 4.70m (1.3)

NBC:
Chicago PD- 8.07m (1.8)
Law and Order SVU- 9.28m (2.1)

FOX:
American idol- 7.36m (1.6)

CW:
Arrow- 2.39m (0.9)

Great for NBC. Shame the CW wasn't higher! Considering its 10 years old, SPN still skews young!

Dreadful for Reign and Blacklist

The Blacklist has lost a lot of its audience this season. Last season, it was all anyone could boast and rave about. The hype has died and it's becoming just another low rated NBC show.

I think Reign will be another Beauty and the beast/Hart of dixie type show for the cw. They will get likely get a fourth season out of it, but may fail to reach the golden number of 88. It's a shame but it's on the wrong network. It's too risque for The CW.

I think it’s the schedule change mid season that’s caused the drop in rating for The Blacklist. It was performing very well during the first half of the season in its Monday slot, causing quite a dent to CBS’s established NCIS:LA. It’s move to Thursday has not been good for the show.
I suspect NBC might try and schedule it a bit better next season given it’s proved it has the potential to do very well if given the right slot.

Sorry I haven't posted lately.

In general...

Bad for Grimm on Friday to get a series low going sub 1.0 for the first time with a .9

Secrets and Lies finished with a 1.7. Probably will adjust up!

What's happening to The Big Bang Theory? It seems to have been bleeding viewers over the last few weeks.
