What's happening to The Big Bang Theory? It seems to have been bleeding viewers over the last few weeks.
I will post the Mon ratings later in full. |

I thought secrets and lies was a one off series but it turns out if there is a season 2, it will continue with Juliette Lewis's character but with a new case.

Such a shame Jane sucks in the ratings. Thank god for those critics and award nominations/wins. Otherwise, I think The CW would of axed it. It has been my second fav show of the television season.

Why on earth did ABC renew the low rated American Crime? 1.0 is dreadful for a freshman show.

FOTB has been renewed. It was confirmed with all the others. I started watching it today. Great show.
I wonder if critical acclaim and award buzz saved American Crime. It bagged a few critics choice nominations, and they are normally a good indicator on who is a contender for the emmys. |

Sorry about the absence. I will post the links to the entire week ratings.
Some involve The Flash getting a 1.5, Arrow a 1.0 for its final (highest for a final), the reliable ABC weds block and The Vampire Diaries gaining a tenth to get 0.7 for a main characters last episode. |

After 33 years of hosting a nightly late night talk show, David Letterman hosts his final ‘Late Show with David Letterman’ on Wednesday night on CBS.
What ratings do you predict it will get? I’m predicting something like 15, maybe 20 million, which would be a very unusual number for a programme at 11:35pm. When Johnny Johnny Carson retired from The Tonight Show in 1992 he got over 50 million viewers (but that was before the DVR era and when there were far fewer cable channels to choose from). When Jay Leno retired from The Tonight Show (properly!) in 2010 he got 14.6 million viewers and a 3.8 demo. Interestingly Conan O’Brien got 10.3 million viewers and a 4.4 demo for his final The Tonight Show after his 7 month disastrous stint as host. So what do you think Letterman will get? |

So less than Jay Leno’s final show? I’m going to stick my neck out and say Letterman will beat Leno. And I think it’ll be a fair comparison as it was only a year and a half ago. Although Johnny Carson’s 50 million was impressive, it was also a different era with less choice and only one chance to watch something.

I'm Setting the ratings out differently now as this way we can see more clearly who comes on top. Just a reminder, the first numbers are the demo/share and the second is the amount actually watching.

The ratings for the Late Show with David Letterman finale, which aired 11:35pm - 00:55am on Wednesday night on CBS, are impressive (but not quite enough to beat Jay Leno’s Tonight Show finale). It got 13.7 million viewers and scored a 3.1 in to demo. It was the highest rated programme on television on Wednesday.
The Late Late Show with James Corden also got a boost, it got 4 million viewers at 1am, the most viewers in ‘The Late Late Show’ history since its inception in 1995 regardless of host. |
