Life In Pieces, Jane The Virgin and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend rise this week. Blindspot and Gotham fall. Quite rare a show increases from it's pilot but Crazy managed it.

Looks like the new mythology/shift in paradigm/whatever is not working for Castle.

Yes they wasted the chemistry between the two leads on a contrived plot device.

Oooh, I'm intrigued. What's happened? I stopped watching Castle just after mid-season last year. You can put in spoilers. And beleive me you won't be spoiling anything for moi.

I stopped watching after all that

Limitless continues to drop. Chicago Fire has really affected the show's performance. I could see it getting a few extra episodes but maybe not the back nine.

Actually Ricks P.I. was a bit of a highlight, at least Nathan got to do his comedic acting skills.

Yeah, good for Nathan. I love his comedic side. But I didn't think the PI thing was the best platform for him to exercise those skills. I think it was because the cases the writer got Castle to investigate involved people I wanted to slap. Also I felt that the characters I grew to like and love seemed to have changed after Rick's disappearance and the wedding. It just didn't feel like the Castle of old. The PI stuff just seemed to reinforce that and put even more distance between the lovely, lovely characters of 1-6 and these doppleganger fake imposters of season 7.

Thank you for the update!

There's been rumblings from bts that Nathan and Stanza really don't like each other. So there's talk of body doubles, lack of "being in the same room" scenes, promotion with both of them involved together, etc.

Maybe the writers had no choice?

That's been the rumour for over two years ironically since they Castle and Beckett got together. Funny that.

There's also the 'rumour' at the start of season 7 Nathan thought the show was too much about Beckett, which it had been since season 4 and wanted it to be about Castle.

I am a huge fan, totally obsessed, but they need to sort this stupid situation out and call it quits.

ABC’s annual showing of "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" drew a 2.0, well above "The Muppets" last week – that’s concerning for them! I find it funny how ABC roll out these Charlie Brown, and the like, specials year after year and they still perform really well. I guess the closest we have is BBC1 rolling out the Wallace and Gromit specials every year.

Also, in late night, ABC’s Kimmel only got a 0.7 up against a repeat of NBC’s Fallon (1.0). I only point it out because Kimmel is doing a week of shows from New York this week with some very impressive guests, so I suspect ABC are a little disappointed.
But having said that, when NBC’s Fallon is delivering 1.0 and above at 11:35pm that’s a high target to beat.

Yes, those Charlie brown specials always deliver high ratings. A new generation are always discovering. I pretty much grew up with them.

TVD has really taken a hit this season. I knew Nina Dobrev's departure would lose viewers.

Player cut to 9 episodes - Blood and Oil cut to 10 - Minority Report cut to 10 as well.

Shame as I like The Player.

Limitless gets a full season - now I'm watching this show and pleased about that - not too sure it will go past 1 season - maybe a few Bradley Cooper cameos will help ?

I can't see NBC keeping Undateable and Truth Be Told.

Truth Be Told is terrible, even worse than Dads.

I'm really liking the Live Undateables so will be disappointed if that goes.

They were taking the micky out of Bianca and Rules of Engagement this week.

Good news about Limitless, that should give it time to mature enough to become a show in its own right rather than a generic version of most action shows.

It has a sense of humour and as sense of direction missing in a lot of shows.

Lol. I just read on some poster on a TV website say that Blindspot should get Philip Winchester on board now that The Player is as good as dead. Goodness knows watching Sullivan week after week, he could do with a laugh because, whether they realise it or not, the plot of a lost tattooed Special Ops amnesiac is bit whack whichever way it's looked at. And Jamie Alexander looks lost as to what she should be doing with her character: what should I be doing in this scene? Give a "bewildered" look? "angry badass" look? "rabbit caught in the headlights" look? "Jane is falling for Kurt" look? "Jane is peed off with Kurt" look? "stop harrassing me, Kurt" look? "everyone is crazy but me" look? "blank" look?

Someone in this show must surely want to burst out laughing at some point.
