Lol. I just read on some poster on a TV website say that Blindspot should get Philip Winchester on board now that The Player is as good as dead. Goodness knows watching Sullivan week after week, he could do with a laugh because, whether they realise it or not, the plot of a lost tattooed Special Ops amnesiac is bit whack whichever way it's looked at. And Jamie Alexander looks lost as to what she should be doing with her character: what should I be doing in this scene? Give a "bewildered" look? "angry badass" look? "rabbit caught in the headlights" look? "Jane is falling for Kurt" look? "Jane is peed off with Kurt" look? "stop harrassing me, Kurt" look? "everyone is crazy but me" look? "blank" look?

Someone in this show must surely want to burst out laughing at some point.
Yes Blindspot is a bit po faced.

I'm still not sure where it is going.

Not down to the nearest tattoo removal shop sadly.

Grey's Anatomy in its 12th season is still doing 2.4 in the demo and is apparently the 5th highest drama on the network television?!

Not bad at all!

I agree

Grey's anatomy is one of those rare shows where despite losing long running and beloved characters, it always manages to carry on as normal. I have seen tons of shows fall apart when characters leave. I can see the show running as long as as ER. Ellen Pompeo has made it clear she will not leave the show because she refuses to walk away from a job that provides security for her husband and children.

Also Justin Chambers has 5(!!) children so not sure he would be walking away soon.

I enjoy some aspects of it, but 5 shows in and it's already on the verge of collapsing under it's own ridiculousness.

Did enjoy the CBS NFL commentators trying to sell Supergirl to the NFL audience this week, interesting to see how that does.

I wonder how Supergirl will do. The main issue is it is up against The Voice and Dancing with the stars. But i am going to predict a 2.5. Jane The Virgin will likely take another hit this week as it is up against Supergirl. Supegirl could be the downfall for Jane.

Minus football, The Simpsons stole the night. Quantico continues to fall.

Yay, Quantico is terrible, and I do not want it doing well enough that other similar shows are made.

I can't work out whether the show is failing because of a weak lead in or whether people are not interested.

IMO it is style over substance. Lots of pretty people going through the TV motions of becoming CIA agents and a mystery that seems to be made up as it goes along.

Homeland - 1.6 million
The Leftovers - 500k
The Affair - 800k
The Walking Dead - 13.14 million

The Simpsons was adjusted up from 2.7 to 2.8. I am glad this episode did well. It's the best Treehouse of Horror that the show has done in years imo.

I think The Affair will be renewed. It averages between 500k-800k which is no different to what Penny Dreadful and Masters Of Sex earn, and they got renewed.

Brilliant for SG. I predicted 2.5 purely because of TV and DWTS but it proved no issue.

I think The CW will axe Crazy Ex Girlfriend and replace it with the third season of The 100. They won't use Containment and Legends of Tomorrow as they are firmly booked for next year. They will either let the 13 episode order run or copy everyone else and reduce the order. It's doing awful. Jane needs a stronger lead in.

Thanks for the link cylon. TVBTN is getting slow these days. They used to have ratings before anyone else but seem to have them last lately.

It's a shame about 'Crazy Ex Girlfriend', I like the mix of song and comedy, but the 'boyfriend' is very generic and not leading man material IMO.

Haven't bothered to see it due to my strict rule. Would you believe it was originally pitched as a half hour show on Showtime? Once CW picked it up, they removed the adult themes and filmed more scenes to make it up to the typical 40 minute run time. I could not imagine it on Showtime at all.

I wonder how Wicked City will do tonight. Another anthology show. Only 10 episodes. It's up against Fire and Limitless though. and Limtless has taken quite the bashing.

I find it interesting that the downfall of TVBTN somewhat was in parralel to all or most of the big 4 networks shows going doing the ratings cliff.

I find TV Line,, Deadline and Variety are quick with ratings. TV Line does most of the main numbers. Then TVBTN catches up eventually.

Is that the crime show based on the wizard of oz? Or did that not get commissioned in the end?

No, that's due next year

Wicked City is an anthology show about two serial killer in the 1980's.
