Adjusted up

FOX:
World Series- 14.40m (4.2)

CBS:
Survivor- 9.54m (2.4)

ABC:
The Middle-8.31m (2.2)
Modern Family- 10.32m (3.9)

CW:
The Tomorrow People- 1.92m (0.7)

Adjusted down:

ABC:
Super Fun Night- 5.79m (2.1)

It seems the CW is being hard the most by the World Series as they share the same male audience, shame that both Arrow and TTP won't go up until it doesn't face it any more. But that adjustment has saved TTP with an OK 0.7 demo.

Meanwhile on the CW, even though Arrow didn't adjust up, it went up in ratings a little with 2.89m.

Arrow seems quite consistent, hope it can go over 3m again next week and a 1.0 again, but will be hard with the baseball.

Arrow ratings so far:
Episode 1- 2.74m
Episode 2- 3.06m
Episode 3- 2.89m

Arrow will only go up against the World Series if it goes 6 Games which right now is hard to know if it will or not (only 3 of the past 10 have gone that far, tho this is quite a barren run for great World series 2011 aside)

I'm a baseball fan (reason I'm up this late as I'm watching WS) and would like a Game 6 though, if it does go that far then Arrow could be hit harder as more and more people obviously watch when the odds of it ending are increased.

A Game 7 on Thursday could be a huge hit to some shows especially with big Market Boston in the World Series.

Sundays ratings could be horrific for ABC and CBS with NFL and World Series happening at the same time on NBC and FOX

Preliminary Demo Ratings for Thursday Night
Code:
ABC
Once Wonderland 1.1
Grey's Anatomy 2.8
Scandal 3.0

CBS
Big Bang Theory 4.9
Millers 2.8
Crazy Ones 2.3
2.5 Men 2.3
Elementary 1.8

FOX
World Series 3.4

NBC
Voice - R 1.3
Sean Saves the World	1.1
MJ Fox Show 1.2
Parenthood 1.3

CW
Vampire Diaries 1.1
Reign 0.6
So up this week despite World Series was Elementary, Grey's Anatomy & 2.5 men. NBC shows faired better than all other networks with WS competition as SSTW, MJ Fox Show & Parenthood matched last weeks demo's. Interestingly Voice did a 1.2 between 8-8:30 while last weeks Parks & Rec did 1.3 but between 8:30-9 it did 1.5, much better than last weeks Welcome to the Family's 0.9.

Reign seems to be doing ok.

Once upon a time in wonderland seems to have remained stabled. It won't be getting a second season but i think it will see out it's 13 episodes.

Those baseball ratings seem quite low in comparison to football ratings. Are they usual for game 2 of a series? I imagine games 4 onwards garner more interest, especially if it starts looking like a close run thing. But football v baseball at the weekend - everything else is going to get almost nothing at all.

NFL will likely be hit by the baseball as it's Green Bay at Minnesota, not major market teams and likely to be one sided.

Though on the plus side at least it's not 49ers at Jags, which is what channel 4 is having to show. (The current Jacksonville Jaguars team are unspeakably awful.)

Here are the actual viewing ratings as well

Grimm did well and a nice premiere for Dracula. The Carrie Diaries has bombed terribly.

Pretty much expected though. Most people were surprised it got renewed last year. I think both this and BtB should have been axed last year, maybe CW didnt have anything to replace them with?

With The Originals and The Tomorrow People doing so well, they now have two shows they could easily renew over them.

Yes but I mean last year, they were maybe renewed for lack of alternatives.

I think you are right, last year Gossip Girl ended, they canceled Cult, 90210 & Emily Owens so they gave Carrie Diaries another shot, moving it to friday because they didn't expect much but I'd say they are disappointed with Beauty & the Beast getting 0.3 & hart of Dixie only getting 0.4 on Monday's.

NBC are claiming 45 million people have watched The Blacklist, during ads in Sunday Night Football. I'd imagine that's a stretch.

I guess the NFL rating will be down, the game is one sided & dull.

Expected TWD to drop a bit more than that considering the oppo, stood up really well. It's been a stonking season so hopefully it can stay high. Then go big for the mid-season finale.
