I didn't expect to enjoy Chicago Med (being yet another med-based show), but to my surprise it isn't bad so far. After CF, it's the next best show in that Chicago trilogy. My fav character in the show has to be the one Oliver Platt plays. Then again Oliver is a really good actor. I also like the cross-over cameos; it makes that whole Chicago universe very real.

Looks like The Wiz rated higher than last year's Peter Pan. I have it downloaded. I wonder if it is any good. Both The Sound of Music and Peter Pan were a load of rubbish.

Grimm continues to fall. I think that show is heading towards the danger zone.

NBC are plugging the heck out of the upcoming show Shades of Blue, most ads I've seen for a show on US tv since Blacklist launched, they've clearly got high hopes.

It does look good and having someone like JLO is a bonus, as she is a household name. JLO did attempt television back before she hit the big time but they were flops. Wonder if she will do well. I hope so. With the right role, she is quite the dramatic actress. But she lowers herself to such shitty roles most of the time.

And Ray Liotta is a big pull for me too, as I'm sure a lot of people. He's a brilliant actor. He's attempted a television series once before with 'Smith' but it was a complete flop (although I quite liked it).

Massive rise for The Simpsons. Series low for Quantico.

The Simpsons adjusted down to 2.3
Quantico adjusted up to 1.2

Into The Badlands - 2.42 million
Homeland - 1.74 million
The Librarians - 2.24 million (season high)
The Leftovers - Just under a million (season high)
The Affair - 830k
The Royals - 630k
Agent X - Just under a million
Getting On - 320k

Despite poor ratings, I think The Leftovers will be renewed. Mainly as the critical reception of the show has had an amazing turn around compared to season 1.

Not a promising start for Telenovela. 1.4 for episode 1 and then a 0.8 for episode 2. Do NBC have another comedy flop set in their sights?

Truly terrible for Telenova

Considering the lead in was 2.9 to fall to 1.4 and then 0.8 is Floptastic, Over 2 million people tuned out during the 1st episode to the 2nd.

Scorpion is such a consistent show, and Supergirl seems to have stablised around the 1.5-1.6 range for now

I think thats a season high for NCIS: Los Angeles as well

Seeing as it has already had its episodes reduced it seems a cert for cancellation.
I didn't make it through the first ep, it was awful.

It's episode reduction was for scheduling purposes, more than the show being in danger.

OK, thanks, didn't realise that.

With The Voice as a lead-in, Telenova really did do awful.
And yes, NCIS:LA appears to have benefited as a result!

The second attempt to remake The Great British Bake Off for a US audience appears to be failing too. I'm not sure the 10pm slot is right for it to be honest, seems more like an 8pm show to me.

They don't usually decide on cancellation before it's aired.

I think they try to hide some cancellations by turning what should have been a series into a mini series, such as 'Ascension'.
little-monster
09-12-2015
Yeah that was kinda shitty, as Ascension ended on a cliffhanger. So to call it a mini-series was a smack in the face to fans. Also, it rated really well. Higher than any of the shows they have on their network now.
