She is virtually unknown amongst the others in the Top 12.

In my prediction of 12th-1st in another thread I predicted Lorna would go first unfortunately

Miss Dynamix are my favourite but Lorna should get a lot further in my opinion!!!

I think she'll definitely be Bottom 2 at least but they might save her.

I think Lorna will be next week going not this week. Kingsland may go and Lorna next week or vice versa.

It really depends on her place in the running order. She needs to be later for her to stand a chance of not being the bottom 2.

I think first out is between her, Shelly and Luke friend

Lorna will finish in the 12th-9th region.

Shelley will go before her, hopefully.

Nah, they'll be trying to keep in Kingsland for a good few weeks so that Gary can play at being at a boyband mentor. They didn't give him the groups just to get rid of the 'I see a young Take That in them' boyband so early on.

She's definitely in trouble, but I'm really hoping that she can last a few weeks. Hopefully she'll deliver a great performance to help with the votes, and I'm hoping that the other judges might give her similar feedback to what they gave the similarly underexposed Jade Ellis in the first week last year, where they really praised her performance and drummed it in how she deserved to be there and needed support. They did the same kind of thing for Sophie in the first two weeks in 2011, and she ended up a very impressive third in the first vote despite having less airtime total than most finalists get in their opening audition.

As soon as I saw she was one of the final 3 I was thinking she'll be in the bottom 2 this weekend - I hope I'm wrong. She'll have to especially need to project some personality and connect with the audience in the Lives.

I really like Lorna but I've got a feeling that she may be one of the early exits

If she pulls off something amazing she'll be safe. Other than that though I'd say she's probably a cert for the bottom 2. Then it depends on her opponent.

I fear that might happen too and I hope not because Lorna's my current favourite! I fully expect the first elimination to be one of the Overs though.

Teenage girls vote for their fellow young females, out of admiration, and of course the "fit" boys (anything male with a pulse). That leaves Sam B, Lorna and Shelly up for the chop.

I dunno, I think Lorna may have the potential to do a Ruth Lorenzo from 2008 and go deep into the competition based on amazing sing off performances. Also I have a feeling Sam Bailey may do a Rachel Hylton and crumble at the lives.

The overs are weak, and due to their similarities their vote could be divided. So yeah, Lorna's in the danger zone. Both Sam and Shelly have higher profiles thus far too. Of course, live shows make or break contestants and she could deliver where others fail, which could save her, so there's always that.

Sam won't crumble. Sam has exceptional range and good pitch , and her tone is consistently good throughout her range.Sam has none of the many vocal limitations, flaws and problems Rachel had. She'll be fine.

As for Lorna, I agree. Ruth is exactly who she reminds me of in that I think she has it in her to deliver some standout performances , and she is vocally better technically than at least half of the top 12.

I'm surprised you think that she won't crumble based on her vocal ability alone. I think there are far more reasons for her to crumble (and this also goes for many of them and probably without saying, but,) performing on live TV, in front of a huge audience, with only a few days to learn a song which you may or may not be comfortable with is a MASSIVE recipe for self-doubt.

Added to that, I doubt she is that confident about her looks which will add to her stress.

I understand that if you have the vocal wherewithal to fall back on it helps a great deal in performance, but I did notice some flaws at JH - she tried too hard and got a bit shouty in the big moments, seemingly in an effort to impress and didn't quite seem to have the breath to fully sustain. These are two problems which could easily occur in live performance.

Has Lorna had much screen time? I didn't really notice her until judges houses? probably saw her bootcamp audition but I can't remember it.

yeah I agree with this. A strong voice will not carry her through the lives, especially in a series where she is surrounded by so many younger acts who are far more commercially appealing, she needs to be something more than the unsuspecting woman who sings big songs. I quite liked her when she sang "Clown" at bootcamp, she should try and do more current stuff like that instead of what she did at Judges Houses cos that wont get her very far.

By crumble, I mean train wreck to the extreme previous contestants like Rachel did.A voice with that many problems and limitations is almost certain to fall apart when challenged with something other than the few of songs that hide the person's vocal issues, which is why her crumbling most weeks was so easy to predict.

Sam won't. Her pitch , range, and basic voice are good enough that even if she is nervous, she'll still deliver a reasonably good performance. At worst, maybe a bit of pushing too hard (shouting) or an off note or two. Also, being older, she has maturity on her side.

There is always one "unknown" singer who makes it through to Week 4 and then gets eliminated. I remember Sophie Abidas (sp?) was unknown and was eliminated at Week 4. And Alicia from Series 4 was also eliminated at this point.

I think she'll be eliminated at Week 4.

If she gives a great performance then she should be safe. I completely agree with the Ruth comparisons.

She's nothing like Ruth the show has completely changed since 2008 if she's in the bottom two on Saturday or Sunday she's gone!

Song choices are so important for all the acts get the wrong song and your heading home.
