What was wrong with Atomic Kitten's cover? Sure it was boring, lifeless and uninspired. But no more so than the original

No, not another "worst covers ever" thread - everywhere you go this topic comes up.
Surely Will AND Gareth sang Long and Winding Road! Will hated it too according to an interview he did but he was still under the Pop Idol contract. |

Britney Spears pretending to be a rock chick when she ruined Joan Jett's I Love Rock n'Roll (originally a song recorded by the girl band The Runaways which included Joan Jett and Lita Ford- real rock chicks
!)Stick to pop miss spears you are not dangerous enough for rock! Also madonnas 'version' of American Pie was absolute CRAP! |

I would like to echo the sentiments of many here:
Madonna - American Pie... I would go as far to say she should be *shot* for that.... And to make it worse one of my friends who is a big Madonna fan said that they didn't realise it was a cover until I told them.. GOD!! |

I am surprised that no-one has mentioned Robson and Jerome on this thread.
